What does that have to do with what I am doing? what would walking around

Detroit has crime- Poland has crime. I dont get involved in the crime part, I will let
the local Police take care of that. Helping-volunteering with the poorer folks, yes
I do, I Will , I have.

I donate all my unused items which I frequently go thru things we have childrens
clothes ( hardly worn) good shape and donate. I also have money taken from
my checks for helping hands which also goes to those who dont or cant afford
equiptment like Wheelchairs/ Walkers/ or just another employee who might
have got hurt at work or was off due to medical issues with their family.

so yes, I help, and I will cont to help, I also sent monies for the hurricane katrina
and to poland ( our family) cousins.

I send money to the childrens cancer society, and make a wish foundations.

even though my daughter was diagnosed with a rare disorder which will stay with
her for the rest of her life, and she is also very kind hearted and when she was sick,
in the hospital , she wanted to be the one to go to the other rooms and give toys
to other children. she is always thinking of someone else.

no Witek, unlike you, I have a very unselfish family.
my girls, me, we do what we want, and help who we want, when we want.

I am teaching them that family and values are everything.

I dont think in anyway, shape or form that I am wrong, so you can take your

Witek, it did exist, which means somewhere else someone else will try it again
until there is a law prohibiting this.

I help in my own backyard. and now choose to help in my ancestral back yard.
plus the fact that I still have family living there, and couldnt imagine them
having to endure such appalling work conditions.

It has already gone to far when workers are denied the right to use a bathroom and
made to wear a nappy. no one has to pay extra cost here, its part of our human
nature to eat just as it is to use a bathroom. this isnt going to increase loss of
business, I am sure if all the customers knew this was going on they would not want
to even shop there because its awful practice and I think the public would be
more then appalled.

Not only that, it can make these workers sick, some might not use the nappy so
to speak, and hold it for long periods of time and what do you think will happen
to them? Kidney problems, infections, what kind of company would even think this
is fair?

I dont know how you get one of those petitions going, I never did one, but i think
it would be a good thing to show them a law must be passed to protect these workers
if there is such a law already in place, then they need to crack down now!

form some type of undercover survelliance and see if they are letting workers take
breaks ( by hidden camera at the cashiers desks) .

those who are not following the law, shall pay some hefty huge fines and risk of
store closure..

say words enough to them to comfort because its a sense of loss, your dignity

it was hard enough to watch my moms eyes fill with water because she lost
her ability to control it, my god, to even think an adult is made to wear them
so they can reduce the number of breaks.

Bronek, one of the posts, few days ago, Giles postes on the headband, and how
women are made to wear this at work ( I will look for the post) if you do a search
on Giles and all his posts, it shows up. think it was two days ago.

on another forum though, this was bought up and I cant even remember the
companys name, but they still did it. Maybe Fisz or Giles can remember, i am so
mad though, i cant even think straight. Degrading, demeaning, sickening.

I would slap any employer who asked me to do this. better yet, he better know
how to duck:)

if its no longer an issue, thats super! but think about it, 2004 is only 3 years ago
thats not a long time. companies can still be doing stupid crap we havent heard
yet for people fearing loss of employment!!

3 years isnt that long, if it was 20 years or so, I would say, ok, it was still demeaning
but someone did something, and they were caught.

I can tell you, a Law should be passed, companies try to get away with so much
even if it was 2004, and no longer a policy with companies, or that company, they
should have been used as an example for all the other companies and served
heavy fines for their unlawful practices of unfair labor and lack of Privacy which
every human being has a right to!!! man or woman!!

Well, it wasnt because he was german, it was something else I sensed about him.
im not avid church goer, but I do pray, just something dont sit right.

and i am sorry, I would never judge, but I dont think he made a wise decision, by
knocking down another religion. this I wouldnt expect from a man who is the most
graceful and graced of this earth. so yeah, hesitant to fully trust, I would say so.

but, I will wait and see.

Larry, I can tell you since our familys lived here in the states, I have never seen a gun
in our home, never was there one for my grandfather, who came in 1901. nor on my
moms side of the family , none of my relatives aside from those who are in law
enforcement own guns.

none of my family that I know of ( know more then those distant cousins) own guns
either.

The only cousin who was shot, due to a gun, was one that, unfortunately was involved
in Drugs, and prob more, but it was wrong place situation.
that was quite a long time ago. no gun will enter my home, and my daughters will
not marry, or date a gun happy hunter, I will step in. they know, I teach them real
world issues. real life issues. I dont candy coat anything! this is life, this is how mom
did it. this is what to avoid, this is what happens! they understand and it should be
how things are. never hide anything, because it will be that same thing that causes
the most pain and I would rather scare the pants of my daughters then lose them
later on. GUNS + Carelessness - bad news. totally against them and also to boot

Well,

I have something to say, this was long before I met my husband now.

I do know what your saying, but also what amathysts and everyone else is saying

my ex boyfriend held a gun to my head, we had broke up a short time, then
he begged me to come back, like a idiot I did, then he started asking questions
on who I was dating while i was not with him. it escalated, because I told him
to drop it, and he pulled his gun after I said I was leaving.

I never told my mom, dad, no one till later on. otherwise, especially my uncle
he would have went after him. it was the scariest moment of my life aside from
almost losing my daughter. which i would have never even had the chance to have
had I died that night.

I calmed him down, enough to pass out, he was a sick demented man.
and still to this day, because his family lives all over my area, i ocassionally
run into them, and they say hello, and tell me how he still uses drugs, alcolhol
etc, and you know what his guns were for? Hunting.. thats it, to shoot animals
which I couldnt stand him doing even when we werent fighting.

yes, thats my little story. I am lucky to be alive right now. I wish guns were melted
people snap like this guy did. and Over What?? well, he cant tell us now can he?
nor can his girfriend or the other 31 people he killed.

who were innocent. I am all for a huge meltdown!
People think they are to protect. but what good larry does it do you if you shoot
this guy in your home, you go to jail, the laws are backwards. this guy enters
your home, then what? you know, your supposed to exit the back door , if you have
one, if you dont, then you have just cause to shoot.

agree, I talk to my girls, both have had sex education, but I also talk with them about
it, like these type of incidences. the outcome.

Some parents dont take the time.
