They are a form of pierogi, just much smaller. Pierogi come in many sizes (slang for pu*sy too, lol). There is a standard size but I like the big ones from a special bar here.

I wasn't endorsing it at all, CK. I'm also not a fan of seeing such kind of promotion in the public gaze. It's a private matter and they should just get on with doing what they do behind closed doors as, let's be honest, who's gonna enforce a ban on sodomy?

Yeah, in Norwich, right? I have some Colman's Seafood Sauce in my fridge, it's good but high calorie stuff.
The Poles could benefit from experimentation with pierogi and really raise their profile. They are not creatures of experimentation oftentimes. I think they are just offloading the national surplus of cabbage.

I don't think they take as active a PC stance as some here think. I'd describe it more as laissez-faire, live and let live rather than condoning it to any degree. What doesn't harm me doesn't bother me is how many Europeans seem to think. Classically liberal and not 'new liberal'.

Poles are quite well into mustard, esp at grills. They have many makers and varieties here. Britain has Colmans but not much else.

One of the better winter foods, very simple and tasty. I'll likely get some with meat through the week. I love the fried and caramelised onions that they come with. A good sour rye soup is in order beforehand.

I didn't say it made them Russian, Borrka, just that they have leanings perhaps from a lack of identity. The Ukrainian girl spoke Russian in Poland. Why not speak Ukrainian as young Poles have about as much chance as understanding that as Russian, wouldn't you say?

What I have found is that some girls here like locking horns with you, sth they respect you for btw, then love you for agreeing with them at the critical moment. That's their control job done successfully there.

Personally, I have been made to feel welcome by many, Greg. That's just my way, I put out good energy and I tend to get received favourably. I wasn't talking about me. I was talking about others who tend to find that some Poles can be resistant and unaccommodating. I am lucky to find helpful folks here.

It works both ways. Some Poles are afraid of them too for past actions. On an intergovernmental level, they both have nothing to fear.

It really boils down to how you learn. Many teachers intentionally withhold information. Times have changed and we have the tools necessary for effective self study. I don't baby my students and I sure as hell don't encourage laziness. Some people here expect a magic wand which, simply put, they are not going to get from me. I give them the building blocks without giving out too much.

I wouldn't be so sure. It might strike you as odd but I've never really studied Polish grammar to any appreciable extent. I've picked up 90% of what I know from listening alone.
The instrumental is a nice one to learn. There is some kind of regularity to the rules which is good.
