Supposedly the best way to get seagull is to put 'alka-seltzer' in a piece of bread and give it to a seagull. Due to there inability to belch/burp/flatulate something inside bursts and they die!

Trapping crayfish in England and Wales is illegal unless you have a permit from the Environment Agency due to the native white clawed crayfish being under threat. So do not go down to your local river and do this without a permit:

in fact I dont fcuking know of any fish that's protected

The rarer fish in the UK are protected species such as the Vendace, Burbot and Powan. Sturgeon in UK waters are also protected by law, technically they are owned again by the reigning monarch.

Contrary to Shelley's opinion the water quality in most rivers in Engalnd and Wales is actually pretty good and many of the fish are good eating and perfectly safe to eat. Species such as Pike, perch, carp and zander are all good if prepared correctly. Just remember that there is a maximum of 2 fish to be removed a day.

Life / Street racing in Poland [15]

However, news reaches us that police in Lodz, Poland's second city, plan to cordon off sections of the town at night to allow street racers to compete without speed limits.

Travel / Getting from Wroclaw Airport into Town [23]

Take bus 406 to the city centre

When i was in Wroclaw (January) i took this bus to the city centre and then got a taxi from the rail station to the Qubus hotel. Taxi was 20 zloty but from the train station you could walk it in about 15-20 minutes. Hotel is good with a nice short walk to the rynek or Dominika.

Language / Double entendres in the Polish language? [37]

The best double entendres are in the 'Carry On' films and also the 'Lovely, wobbly, randy old ladies' from Harry Enfield and Chums.
"Oh what a lovely pair"
"Just up my backpassage, oh young man!"

History / German Deaf/Mute able to give voices to Hitler's personal videos...scary [29]

psychopathic serial killer comes to power

Who did Hitler personally kill (apart from himself)? Im sure it is easier to order a killing rather than pull the trigger yourself and as such i do not think he was as you have described. Im not defending him in any way but he cannot be compared to the likes of Charles Manson.

Travel / Taking the 504 bus from Wroclaw to Olesnica [4]

Going to Wroclaw again in April and this time i need to get the 504 bus. I know where the bus station is, which rank to go to and have a timetable for the bus. Where do i buy a ticket though? Can i get a ticket from the usual Relay shop or do i need a different ticket? Does anyone know the price?

Thanks for the help

Love / Getting married?? Keeping parents happy etc... Big Polish family. [9]

From the little i know you and your partner go to 4-5 half day sessions at your local catholic church, with other couples, and are 'coached' and have discussions about marriage and how to make it work long term. There is a catholic slant on these sessions but there are in no way a recruitment campaign or guilt trip for non catholics.

By the way i am a non-catholic.

Why is excessive drinking viewed in an okay light in polish culture

Go to lots of countries not just Poland and the culture is the same. In peaceful middle England i was getting pissed and taking drugs at 13.
