History / Why we talk about Nazis not Germans [138]

This great Evil called hitler did awaken monsters inside most of them. A big most of them.

All of us have potential monsters hiding within us. It is naive to think otherwise.

I have to throw this out again.....Jane Elliot's classroom excercise about racism that showed her that anyone could turn a class of sweet children into a "bunch of Nazis". She was horrified at what she witnessed unfold before her. if you watch...please watch all parts. It even works with adults, too.

To call them weak was unfair. A sad little man in denial he was

Yup! He was a one-man freak show.
It is sad and frightening that he was able to hide his madness well enough to convince people to follow him.

History / Why we talk about Nazis not Germans [138]

At the end he even wished for all Germans to perish as they were not longer worthy of his cause, as they had disappointed him...

Most people either don't know this BB, or choose to ignore it. Or maybe they just don't care.

Hitler only cared for his ideal, his vision. Nothing else mattered. If someone deviated from the ideal, they were eliminated.

Hitler at the end felt the German people failed because they were weak, and that they did not deserve to live as a result of being weak.

Also, I find it hard to believe that a nation of mass murderers could be built so easily. It takes a certain type or EXCESSIVE propaganda.

A nation of mass murderers?

Don't you mean a special force within the regime?

History / Who were European natives? What happened to them? Where they are? [79]

Scientists are not 100% sure of what happened to the Neanderthals. There is a lot of debate right now of whether the Neanderthals and Cro Magnons interbred and mixed the genes....

Crow are you going to say that the Cro Magnons were ancient Slavs?

History / Why we talk about Nazis not Germans [138]

I am always thinking about it. Why we hear about Naiz killing Jews Polish Russians enslaving French Polish Russians as forced laubour in factories - not Germans.

Because the Nazis were a distinct political group with a particular ideology. Not all Germans and Austrians subscribed to this political party or its beliefs.

To generalize and say "all Germans" is to ignore the distinctions and thereby tar all with one brush.

Of course, you can do that if you want.........but you will be exaggerating, as usual.

News / Weak US dollar in Poland and other countries... [180]

With the financial crisis of the stock market and bank collapses happening now in the US, the dollar will probably end up not worth the paper it is printed on. There are clowns running the US into the ground.

Life / Doing laundry in Poland [66]

I have impression that Americans are a bit obsessed about washing. Few years ago I spent 6 weeks with my family living there....And I was little surprised that they wash jeans-trousers just after one day of wearing it? Isn't it excessive?

Americans are obsessed with "clean".
This country was founded by Christians who felt that cleanliness was next to godliness and it became part of the culture somehow.
The advertising in the US also put a ton of emphasis on killing germs. God forbid there should be a germ on any surface in the house :) And you can buy little bottles of hand sanitizer to clean your hands when there is no soap/water available. Very popular during cold.flu season. :)

Life / Doing laundry in Poland [66]

I was reading a German forum for ex-patriots from the US about appliances and adapters vs converters (they eventually advised to scrap all US appliances and start over in Germany)....but then they said the washers in Germany run for 3 hours!

3 hours! They must be exaggerating. How could there be that much difference between Poland and Germany?

Life / What Flower is Representative of Poland [14]

Thanks W8 :)

Here is an interesting bit of info....

Corn Poppy (Papaver Rhoeas) or Red Poppy, a flower with vivid red four petals, most commonly with a black spot at their base. is the national flower of Poland. It is a variable annual plant in the northern hemisphere and generally flowers in late spring. During and after World War I, fields that had been disturbed by battle bloomed with Corn Poppies, and the flower has become a symbol of that war.

News / The advantages and good reputation of Polish workers [45]

Backbone? How matches Backbone with following any orders?

What she is trying to tell you is that "intelligence gathering" is necessary in battle situations, to predict what the enemy will do next, what the enemies strengths and weaknesses are, so that your own military force can be used to full advantage while preserving resources.

You and several other writers are containing nothing than wishy-washy and defaming

Please elaborate.

If this forum would be under my control, I would have banned such intentionally destructive and dirty writers like You already.

Sounds like you aren't too keen on the whole "freedom of speech" thingie except for yourself. Shame on you.

There is nearly no forum in the world where You can find serious discussion.

You are not exactly helping.
You make wild claims without anything substantive to back them up. If someone disagrees with you, you label him/her an SS Satanist.

You have put your self in the same category of person who stands on a street corner shouting at passers-by that the world is ending. No one can take you seriously.

I don't know if after discussion about paganism we should go into details.

Just a reminder about something ski, don't forget that the Bible (New Test.) forbids you to study or read astrology too. Naughty Aquarius!
Go home and say your prayers before it is too late! :)
