but then they will have to basically learn Polish all over again if they wanna write or read anything else in Polish. as someone else here said, we dont use the Polish accents when txting or emailing. if you wanna learn a foreign language, learn it properly i say. emailing or txting is not an excuse to make mistakes anyway. and it wont make the txters life easier as they will have to use more symbols to write a Polish word if they are to follow that stupid idea.

nah he knows i'm engaged, i have a habit of talking about my fiance all the time lol and even that didnt put him off. he's a decent guy, but the whole situation is making me feel uneasy...

lol i had this guy whom i was dating only for a few weeks and then we split up cos we couldnt see each other very often due to his work... so we stayed friends and i got together with someone else, but that didnt work so me and the first guy decided to give it another go. i waited for him to show up for our date all night and he never have, when i rang he put his mate on the phone (i actually heard him in the background!) to tell me he was still working and will ring me later. he didnt. so i forgot about that and about 3 weeks later he txts me he was away and he's back now so can we meet up and spend the weekend together. i told him where to go lol, but he was still stalking me, leaving me voicemail messages and sh*t. even gave my number to his mate telling him it was someone elses just to caue me some more problems... i dont like stalkers...

Yeah it is interesting how in Poland you are expected to say dzień dobry to random people in a waiting room, but not to random people on the street, in a park etc. Since i've been here in UK i noticed British people tend to be more polite and friendly and they nearly always smile at you. Poles don't. I actually find it irritating sometimes when a bunch of blokes on their lunch break are standing on the street having a fag and say good morning to me when i'm walking o work. It's funny how they only say it to me though, not anyone else (maybe they like my accent when i say good morning ha ha)... And it still scares the hell outta me when i'm walking somewhere and it's late and dark, and someone walking their dog creeps up behind me and says good evening! i noticed that Polish people don't greet each other like that, not even when they go to the shop or to pay their bills. When i go to Poland and smile at shop assistants and say dziekuje, they look at me as if i was from a different planet!
