Love / Sick of a Certain Polish Lady - my boyfriends friend [34]

How did u come to the conclusion that I am a racist?

You're a woman, all women are racist, they also generalise a lot, all of them.

I have nothing against this girl.

Then let him have sex with her without a fuss.

She has contacted me on several occasions crying on the phone or saying that she is with my boyfriend and she likes him very much.

And since you're still with him you deserve every bit of the crap the situation delivers, in life stupiditiy is a punishable offence.

I'm with ur bf right now" and then I'll call her and leave msg to talk to her but she'll never pick up the phone or send me msgs like flowers or smiley faces. She will not talk to me which makes me angry!

No, it makes you stupid, even trying to talk with her at this point is as pointless as trying to convince my gf to wear the bloody french maid uniform.

And my bf is totally uncooperative. He says I'm paranoid everytime I ask about her or worse he'll get angry and start screaming at me and deny things.

Your boyfriend is taking advantage of the fact that you're a stupid little girl and has absolutely no regard for your opinion whatsoever, especially if your opinion interferes with his "hump the ex" schedule, any normal woman would draw the line ages ago and dump the craphead if he crossed it even once.

Life / What should Poland and Poles do, after first day of nuclear war? [133]

Again, it comes down to credibility. Google is not the definitive authority and you can't certify the authenticity of those pictures.

Jesus Sean i know we're into conspiracy theories but Russia didnt just inflate a fake rusting fleet for 20+ years, lets not overastimate them ...

Russia has ambitious plans to build these up. The BBC has ran some documentaries should you care to look. Medvedev and Putin discussed it on RussiaToday and it's there for you to see.

Sean, i have plans to track down Harry and shoot him in a face with a tank but since i cant afford a tank, neither can Russia, its nice to have plans though.

Please remember, Russia is more covert/clandestine than the West. Your sources will never reflect the true picture unless you have inside knowledge. Go and ask Sasha or Kostik. Maybe you trust the Russian equivalent of GUS?

Google is your friend, just type in "Russia fleet decay images" or something along the lines and enjoy, thats not a covert operation thats a huge heap of critical equipment going to hell.

Life / What should Poland and Poles do, after first day of nuclear war? [133]

As you can see, Russia has nearly 3000 nuclear warheads. Even if some of them are non-operational, how many remaining ones are enough to inflict major damage?

How many of them work? I know Russia has thousands of warheads but how many of them are in working condition? How many of them are installed on working missilies? How many of them are stockpiled?

Its physically impossible for a country that has major problems maintaining its delivery platforms to have even half of that operational,
globalsecurity.org/org/news/2008/080919-russian-fleet.htm

There's more on how their submarines which are central to strategic scale nuclear delivery are rusting away, thats absolutely crucial equipment and if thats rusting it means that nuclear department in Russia has tragic funding, how many warheads can they actually launch? 500? 900? Definitely not a lot and it takes a LOT of nukes to actually destroy a country the size of US, then there's France and UK with their naval bases and nuclear facilities, American military bases worldwide and you're not left with lots of nukes for a target like Poland.

You will always have rich businesspeople coming forward and maintaining the stockpiles, Sokrates. Nukes are bargaining chips. Iran will maybe pick some up ;) ;)

Then tell me why dont they maintain Russias delivery systems or their entire navy and military?

Life / What should Poland and Poles do, after first day of nuclear war? [133]

You're already here pawianstein and as you see i can accept that (your time will come Jewish bastard, your time will come).

So its possible that many Missiles will fall on Poland , as they run out of fuel on their way to other targets....

Or they get lost in the clouds or just decide Kraków is nice.

Being willing to limit your nukes, ah, now that's different

Last time Russia did it was because they overdid on nuclear stockpile and couldnt afford it, you dont just give away nukes because of good will and yes Russia wants to limit nukes for a simple reason, Russia cant afford its stockpile, US can, by limiting them only Russia gains since it gets parity.

Remember that they had more of a nuclear stockpile than America.

And less money than America, they cant afford it.

It has been said that they had/have enough warheads to destroy the world 3 times over.

It has been also said that hiding under a coat protects from radiation.

Ever heard of bluffing? Lulling into a false sense of security? Russia is world chess champion btw. They excel in posturing. They have a lot of new technology but I can't reveal my sources on that one.

Letting your entire army and fleet deteriorate, not being able to feed your soldiers and being willing to limit your nukes because you cant pay the upkeep is a bluff?

You don't really know what they have but you know they don't have much?

I know they have trouble feeding their men, i know they withdraw crucial aircraft, i know that nuclear subs which are crucial to their strategy are rotting away at harbors and their numbers being continously cut down, thats signs enough.

Russia has more than enough to do the damage that it doesn't intend to do.

That is correct, it does not have enough to waste though and nuking Poland during an exchange where every warhead matters is a waste especially when you're limited and there's no reason to believe that Russia's military collapsing from feeding to nuclear sub upkeep can magically afford having enough nukes to happily spray on non-relevant targets.

Life / What should Poland and Poles do, after first day of nuclear war? [133]

How do you know this, Sokrates? What kind of figures are you reading?

No figures, i'm seing what state the Baltic fleet is in including its nuclear assets, if such crucial equipment is left deteriorating than Russia has much less nuclear missilies operative than its total stock of missiles, their readiness to enter into START negotiations with US confirms that their nuclear stock is in pathetic shape.

Russia may put numbers out there but you don't really know what they have, now do you?

No not really but i know they dont have that much and i know they have a LOT of relevant targets in Europe and USA and none of them is Poland so apart from a random "**** you" missile they're not going to waste assets they could first strike or counterstrike with on whats basically an agricultural plain with cities.

but, what about infrastructure in Poland? Transmision, signals, internet, etc?

Russia doesnt have enough missilies to spare for more than a few targets and the West has no reason to target us, much of Poland is agricultural and cities are very spread out so servers, power generation, communication and food supply should be ok, fallout will be a problem but that depends whats hit over our borders and how close.

Actually unless the server room would be hit or irradiated or cut power from yeah it would, all computers are proofed against EMP to a certain degree.

History / Roman Dmowski- Polish Adolf Hitler? [219]

Can't disagree..
But with you it always sound as if the EU will collapse totally tomorrow and all is back to as it was the last centuries...

Give it ten years at most, and yes for a very short while you're going to see Tzars, Teutonic Knights nd Grunwalds pop up everywhere, i'm not expecting Germany to go Nazi but Russia will definitely put up the worst of its colors before it collapses.

As for EU you're going to see a slow slide for years before everything goes to holy hell from day to day, just like it did before both world wars.

Nope...I don't think so...the majority of the Germans AND the Poles just can't be arsed anymore. (Verbal b*itching notwithstanding!)

Not in a way that we've seen in the past, it might be something like some right winger General going rogue and trying to invade Western Poland, or something happening with Germany and some Kaczyński taking advantage of that, think limited military or political exchange, for Germany i'd say you're facing a conflict between right wingers and the rest of the Reich as soon as the stone drops, it might even be as bad as communist riots post WW1 or maybe worse.

Russia? I dunno...against whom? The NATO???

Think of Russia as this big kid who just discovered that he can get candy if he punches someone, Russia cannot excersize restraint if it goes far enough, enough concessions to Russia and we have a war that no one wanted or expected, including Russia.

History / Roman Dmowski- Polish Adolf Hitler? [219]

But it does!

By not facing crisis, you can only measure an organisation by how it responds to a crysis, the way EU did not deal with the gas issue shows the organisation has no chance of survival.

It is the most successfull community Europe ever build...and peacefully at that.

Yes, by giving and not dealing with problems, those two activities can go on only in perfect political and economical conditions, these are ending.

I don't understand your denial and defeatismus, really not!

Who will lead, French or Germans? Poles are getting uppity again, how do we deal with Russia invading Ukraine? Russia cut off the gas again, what do we do now? Oil dries up, Russia wont sell, US wont sell where do we go from now?

There's so many challenges coming and EU is not ready or able to get through even one of those.

There will never be a "perfect" EU,

Yes there will but thats my "esoteric" side again.

Do you have an alternative? Tell me!

The concept of unified Europe has been thrown on the wind, now it will not die but it will not work in the present form, Germany and Poland will go at it again, so will Russia, resources will go scarce, thats not esotetic thats just a natural hard as rock consequence of the politics and economical ties that exist currently.

There's no alternative, just like present day NATO and EU are children of WW2 a perfected form will come out of the coming upheaval, our understanding of politics and humanity evolves, if you'd meet your prussian great grandfather and told him women serve in the army he'd laugh his stahlhelm off, my point is that Europe will evolve into a superior community rather than it be created arbitraly by economic and political treaties but for that the old structure needs to collapse and will collapse.

Thats the same as my issue with Prussia, you cant make a nation be something with a decree, you have to let it evolve on its own or else its synthetic and eventually collapses, no matter how impressive or powerfull in its own time.

That will be the fault of the enlargement to the East. To much, to fast!
Making the EU now often unable to find a consent...

Not really, the problem with EU is that its filled with particular interests, German, French, Polish, you name it everyone's tugging in his own direction.

I will give it another generation to die out peacefully (if it's not rekindled all the time and used for cheap politics...as it happened in Poland recently).

You're going to call me esoteric but i'd say that our relations are shaped by our collective potential and consciousness, nations are made up of living creatures, ie nations are living collectives, they have their sympathies, their loves and ambitions, they live and die like people.

An example is Hungary-Poland friendship, we dont have anything in common and yet two countries currently not even having a border develop such a deep friendship, it will take a lot more than telling kids "they're people like us" to change it.

I think I agree with that...seeing tensions with China...I don't know how our relationship with the US and Russia will develop.
But what would you advise? How should the EU react, develop, change?

EU cannot and will not work in any way or form because of particular interests and because of US not wanting an European superstate for obvious reasons, EU itself can do nothing but collapse, the concept was sound the execution flawed from the beginning, there's no reaction at this point, no treaty, no military action that could save EU.

A crumbling EU would mean all the bad things would be back again, inclusive war.
It's also about us...if we let it happen...

Thats exactly why i'm knocking at Polish-German conflict, Russian-everyone conflict and such, we're reaching a complete redefinition of power in Europe.

Imagine Poles coming to a German Forum and rubbing **** like that in:

Foreigners coming to chat with Poles is a good thing, especially Germans.

Do you share the EU-idea at all?

Yes but i do not believe the present day EU will succede, i believe we're facing another european upheaval after which it will be reconstructed into something different.

Does it always have to be one at the top above each others?

I would be fully content with Germany leading if lead doesnt mean domination, i'm just aware that old ambitions did not vanish, they're wearing suits and gloves but they're still here.

Think about it Sokrates...in few years our economies will be so deeply interwoven with each other that there won't be a clearly discernable GERMANY or POLAND anymore....(besides during football matches).

Give it a few decades yes.

The time of nationstates/kingdoms is gone...why do you want that back again?

I dont, i'm enjoying my beer, i'm enjoying having awesome dental care, i'm enjoying all things that do not include being shot, starving or cold, i'm just seeing national ideas still very much here and economy being unable to satiate them.

I dont believe in a German-Polish war, i do believe however in a Russian/China/US/Europe war, social unrest, conflicts between countries and EU crumbling, you're thinking linear, that a process started will just go on, i'm seeing EU as reaching a corner.

Is it? If we were that bad how did we manage to stay afloat the power boat so very long? Its not wishfull thinking, you take an ambitious people, take away their power, screw them for centuries and you end up with a tightly coiled spring waiting to go boing (WW2 as a result of lost WW1 *hint*)

We did not build an effing huge kingdom in the smack middle of Europe by luck and what made us then did not magically go away.

Actually it strenghtens the point...you weren't alone. There were as much as Lithuanians at this battle as Poles...

Nope, there were fewer Lithuanians, they didnt have any heavy cavalry or infantry, on your side there were French, Hungarians and Poles, actually its still argued how much of your cavalry was Polish but a LOT:)

Also in most other wars and conflicts there were no allies, when we conquer...colonized Germany in deep middle ages or took the provinces by force during silesian uprisings.

But you shouldn't forget about your comrades in arms (as with the battle of Vienna and who made it possible that you could fight at Monte Cassino etc.etc.etc.)

Cassino was a french-british victory, Polish taking of the monastery was a huge achievement but the battle was won, Vienna on the other hand was virtually an all Polish victory since the allies sat behind the walls while our cavalry mangled the Turks.

Still fighting Germany??? Give it a rest Pole...

No i'm not i'm just pointing out that you've poured loads of money into an incredibly dynamic and industrious nation who has no love for Germany while Germany is letting itself slip at the same time, as preposterous as it may seem you've created a little monster, its still small, young and corrupt but take a look at where Poland was 10 years ago and where it is now.

Also my great great something was Prussian, very Prussian, he has pics with a spiky helmet and huge moustache to prove it:))
The hill is large enough for only one king and you've just built us stairs to the top and now you're paying us to get increasingly large hammers to smack you off the summit, there's a reason why Poland and Germany are going at each others throats, similar ambitions and potentials do not go well when over a border.

And better never forget, without all the support going westwards your direction from us and the other EU contributors you would be more like the Ukraine today!

And we're gratefull for them i'm sure:)

You are dang annoying!
Wanna link?

I'm not opinionated i'm saying as it was.

Prussia during times of the deluge led some pretty masterfull diplomacy and as with most diplomacy it screwed Poland to which Prussia was a vasal therefore the Elector of Prussia was seen as a traitor.

German states sought Polish/Lithuanian cavalry as mercenaries since between 15 and 17 cent. Polish cavalry was arguably the best in the world and definitely superior to anything in Europe, Turkey or Russia, this coupled with then chauvinistic commonwealth nobility resulted in German militaries being seen as weak and inneficient and since stereotypes back then were as much fun as they're now soon all Germans were weak or traitorous.

Poles are as agressive as Germans, but they can't take it up with the Germans/or the Russians/or anybody else alone so they got ****** over so often.

Grunwald and two polish installed Tzars say you're wrong, i'd say that Poles can take it up with any of their neigbhours regardless of the opposing sides resources or size, its the diplomacy net that screwed us, we've always been fighting powerfull alliances without powerfull allies.

Aren't you to getting bored with always warming up the old stories all the time?

I dont, i've been to Germany and as impressed as i'm with it Poland is far faaaar more dynamic, peacefully we're going to outbuy and outwork you in a few decades and the fun part is that its mainly with your money that its happening, oddly enough that might end up in an interesting new power.

Their regime is not inherently unstable,

Their regime is based on a group of individuals who are financed by exported natural resources, this leads to virtually non-existent free administration, everything is a straight up-down ladder with no elasticity, a system like that cannot survive any sort of a major upheavel (remember what happened to Tsarist Russia?)

What is this threat you speak of? I, for one, feel safe living next to Russia.

Economic embargo, outright war, nuclear threat during crisis, impressing their own policies upon us.

So...you think western Germans hate Russians as the Poles do?

Poles dont hate Russians, quite the opposit but then again what do you know about Slavic countries, and no i'm not esoteric its just that its impossible for a German who havent lived in Poland or Eastern Europe for an extensive amount of time to understand the dynamics of the interaction.

Just for the record, Russians are very popular in Poland, never in any point of history were Russians hated or disliked as individuals, Germans have been seen either as weaklings and traitor and later in history as opressors and murderers but Russians who were in many respects just as bad as Germans never, go figure.

@Nathan.

Ukraine and Germany had fascist regimes and thats it for the relationship. Germans used Ukrainians and Ukrainians allowed themselves to be used and thats it.

What do you mean with "historically aware"?

Drawing lessons from history, for example if Western powers would be historically aware and realize that Germany is the "sick man of Europe"(guess who's favorite quote is that) early after WW1 there would not be WW2.

The fact is that Germany throught history always failed and still fails to understand how Russian international policy works, its a policy of domination and be extention war untill all of Europe within Russias reach is subdued, that has not changed and Germany is well within Russias reach.

There's a grain of truth in what Nathan said, you believe that your geographical position affords you safety from any agressive advances but that safety was typically because Poland was always there to clean up the mess, when Poland was not capable of doing it because of the post war order you've ended up with East Germany which is by far the mildest of unpleasantries that Russia can and will visit upon you if you treat her as a viable and responsible partner.

Yes we need to be polite to Russia, we have to do business with Russia but Germany should stop making deals over Polish head and actually listen what we have to say because as far as eastern policies we have a complete and sound grasp of whats what and Germany is clueless and laying foundations for another catastrophe.

Whoa...at least one crumb...I started to wonder...:)

Prussia was a military power but not at a time when Poland was even relatively powerfull, in fact Prussia was only able to aquire this military power over Polands corpse, without it there would be no Prussia and since at a time it still wasnt strong enough diplomacy was the only way.

Prussia made Bismarck, Bismarck made WW1 and WW1 made Hitler, in the end you're two provinces less and carry a massive burden of history, i never said i wasnt impressed with Prussia but its an idea that always will lead to destruction of Germany since it always leads to confrontations that you cannot win, and you only need to get unlucky once to get exterminated.

Well...I find it hard to believe that the Teutonic Order and also Prussia grew so large and influential without winning some more wars as you (or this list) want to admit...:)

Actually you grew so large because of masterful diplomacy, without Prussia Poland would revitalize itself with the constitution and then its 100k military and no partitions, you've been a catalyst for the partitions, Russia did most the figthing.
