Love / I miss my best friend [22]

How do Polish women normally do this?

1. Either completly forget about the guy, getting rid of all pictures and blocking the memmory to end that chapter in life and go one, or

2. Still have hope that in time things will be different and there will be a chance to be together again but need time to be apart and sort things out.

Life / People from Poland are the most upfront and kind. [7]

But the good part is, that Poland is stubborn, sticks to it's beliefs and doesn't accept change easily.
Nice to have a positive opinion once in a while. Thanks marco.

Love / Real Intimacy [32]

He means certain animals like swans who mate for life, when one dies, so does the other. That's because they can't talk and can't put a personal add in the paper to find another mate. :)

USA, Canada / How can I help my Polish friend become a US Citizen [30]

Or they will have to divorce and marry a US citizen then after 2 years divorce and re-marry each other again. It's been done. And it was with the help of an immigration lawyer.

Language / Counting of Polish currency [28]

It will be genitive masculine plural.

In English only people are masculine or feminine. All objects are neutral ( it).
In Polish everything, the people and all objects are either masculine, feminine or neutral.

Love / Real Intimacy [32]

Real intimacy is the ultimate trust in someone, accepting the other person's downfalls and give yourself to that other person wholheartly.
It's harder with a language barrier and two things can happen:
1. It will be short-lived because you need to communicate not only physically but also verbally. Being intimate is giving the whole body and mind to that other person which means your thoughts are very important too.

2. If it is very strong, the language barrier will be overcome by learning that language and can lead to everlasting happiness and with the undenying trust in each other it will work and it will be beautiful.

Love / My ex from last year and this coming weekend [22]

Ask yourself what's more important:
"I want to see the concert really badly and who cares if I bump into him" or
"I am so afraid to bump into him and who cares about the concert"
And what would be the worst that would hapen even if you do see him? He won't make a scene because he will be in the company of someone else and there will be ;poeple around. He was part of your life at one time and as much as you never want to see him again, he still exists. Life is too short, be brave and face the challenges, It will make you stronger.

Life / News about Marek Halter (artist) [5]

There was a Marek Halter that was born in Poland and after the war moved to France where he became a painter. But maybe that's a different one.

Try a search engine.

Life / Haunted Homes in Poland [173]

Probably something quite prosaic, like a camera artefact.

There was nothing there when we took the picture. We took another one right after this one and it doesn't show anything.
