Language / Polish letters Alt-codes... Anyone? [60]

I just changed the language in my PC settings. It ebnds up in the bottom left of the screen...you can either select ENG or PL, but you still have to ctrl+alt to enter character.

ctrl+alt+a=ą but you don't have to paste any special characters. So, its a lot quicker.

Love / I need a guide to Polish parents for an American! [7]

My gf's parents don't speak english. Maybe a little, but it's more of a confidense issue than not wanting to. As long as you're respectful to their daughter, they will learn to be more comfortable around you. As far as the sex goes....don't be so out in the open about it.. Try to have a little respect for their house.

News / Poland's Contribution to the E.U. [56]

However, how about the automotive industry? Polska Fiat? Polonia? what is the status today of these companies?

Besides food I think cars and chemicals are the major exports. It was estimated in 2006 that auto export achieved 14 billion euro. (16% of total national exports)Germany buys 40% od these.

Leading auto companies:

Volkswagen MP Polkowice
Fiat Auto Poland
Isuzu Motors Polska
Volkswagen Polska
Volvo Poland in Wrocław
Daewoo-FSO

Love / The polish girl, and the life partnership [40]

From my observation it's actually the other way around...hang out here for a bit and you'll see for yourself. There's a lot of "stop stealing our work and Polish go home" here. Nothing new.

Travel / Hikers from Poland [8]

The first time my GF came to the US she worked at the grand canyon gift shop. She was horrified staying there. I'm sure it wasn't too bad, but it was quite a culture shock for her. Bad food and nothing to do at night.

I think it's a good experience though and a great opportunity your company provides. I'm sure you'll find a lot of helpful people here. Welcome.

UK, Ireland / Polish Migrants makes room for '20 to a house [59]

i think its a good idea 20 poles to a house because when someone burns it down they torch 20 poles instead of a few :)

Wow....what an intelligent statement. You can't even be creative enough to come up with a halfway decent name for yourself. For an English person, your grammar is child like. You think you have the right to slag PL people off? LOL You're the idiot here.

Food / Typical Polish Diet [22]

Nah...I actually lost weight when I was there. But of course you can't just sit around and chug piwo all day either. I did walk around the city a lot. The food is mostly preservative free, so I wouldn't worry about MSG's or too many artificial ingredients.

News / Germans file WWII claims against Poland [198]

I think Germany is a beautiful country. It's a shame that most the people still think they're better than everyone else. Especially when I see the fat german women deepthroating a Bialy Kielbasa. Better.......LOL

Good Bier though

Food / Eating out in Poland [43]

I love eating out :) It's a great way to treat your tastebuds and can be quite pleasurable I might add.
I don't always eat out because I also enjoy cooking. It can get pretty sloppy in the kitchen when I cook though :)
