Life / Are Poles happy with their sex lives? [33]

for instance here is very normal that some girls go around with small vibrators in their purse :)

well if you are gonna carry one around with you, might as well make it a big one!

Love / Foreigner's opinion about polish ladies [304]

Kiev girls dress more sharply, always nipples slipping out, many girls with extremely short skirts or half covering shorts or even no skirts at all, only T-shirt.

that lends a whole new meaning to being a 'sharp' dresser! And even breast sizes differ... wow Southern you truly are an expert on the worlds women.

UK, Ireland / Brit Youths Protest Anti-Gay Poland [114]

I am truly sickened by the homophobic attitudes of some members here.. being gay is not a lifestyle choice.. and if you are, then why shouldnt you feel free to express it any way you choose and to adopt children and have the same freedom and rights that heterosexuals enjoy. I know that Im being idealistic to think everyone will agree with me, but thats my opinion., like it or not.. I'm not gay but I believe in equality for all, regardless of your nationality, skin colour or sexual preference. Perhaps if we lived in a more tolerant society there wouldnt be so many problems.

UK, Ireland / Travelling to Sopot, via London....anyone want to get together? [83]

victoria is in central london. you can find some hotels round there but wouldnt recommend it. Which airport are you coming into? what kind of place would you be happy with? backpacker type or nicer hotel or bed and breakfast place? large hotels can be impersonal but if you stay in a bed and breakfast it is a smaller house run by a family that rent rooms out. I might be changing the dates of my trip to Poland now so will let you know if Im around when you are here.

Life / Is there anything worse than Polish rap? [148]

who cares if they are black, white, Polish or American? Everyone has the right to make the music they choose.. regardless of who likes it or not.. its called freedom of expression. If you dont like it then dont listen.

next time Miranda..London is not a nice place to be on your own if you dont know the city. its always good to have some contacts.. even if they are only possibly weirdos on an internet forum. I was stuck in Miami for 24 hours recently and that was hell on earth for me.. would love to have had someone to show me around, rather than trying to walk the streets, get cabs etc. on my own. I didnt even know how big a block was, til I tried walking 8 of them!

UK, Ireland / The British workers denied jobs because they can't speak Polish [45]

The amasing thing I find is the reaction of the 'average' polish person to the much more recent wave of Slovak labour that has arrived in the country. (Southern England is my perspective on this). The Polish reaction is a lot more hate filled than the English reaction to the Polish.

ive noticed that too.. many Poles who have been here a while are very agressive towards immigrants from newer member EU states (and others).. of course it is understandable in a way as it means more competition for jobs and being undercut by people prepared to work for less money.

Hey Ranj, I would have been happy to help you out but as you know I am also going to Sopot.. I havent booked my flights yet, but it is looking likely that I wont be back in London til 2nd, 3rd or 4th August. Once I have confirmed dates I will let you know and maybe we can meet either in London or Sopot.

My advice is dont stay in Central London as its very expensive. Lodnon is big but its easy to get around by public transport. Cheaper areas include places like Earls Court, where a lot of travellers stay. If you let me know how much you are willing to pay per night and what kind of place you are looking for I will try to find some details and send them to you. If we dont get to meet before then I should definitely be around the weekend that you get back.

Love / Dating a Polish man - is he old-fashioned or not interested?! [19]

how old is he and how long has been in the UK? Has he had English gfs before? I wonder why you are worried about him being Catholic, especially if you are too? I have a Polish partner and am English and I can tell you from my experience that they are certainly different to English guys.. I think you should give it some time, but it does sound weird that he brought his mates along without asking you. Why dont you suggest doing something romantic together? I dont think he just wants you as a friend, could he be thinking the same thing about you.. that you arent interested???

Ok please explain why it is good that British people are being refused work in their own country because they dont speak Polish? I am interested to hear why this is so positive for you. Would you be happy if this happened in Poland.. or do you just want everyone to come over here and get jobs.. if so, what will happen to your economy? I think you just hate Brits for some reason.. please respond as I am genuinely interested to know what you think.

UK, Ireland / Getting married to a Polish Citizen in the UK [371]

hi im turkish men , will be marrying my polish girl.. and want to come and live in england.. can someone tell me what are the requirements and how long will i get visa ... and will i get indefinate stay..

i am interested to know why do you think you should get indefinite stay in the UK? why not live in Turkey or Poland? If you are that desperate to come to England wouldnt you be better off marrying an English woman.

its not surprising that the there will be racial tension.. the world has gone mad when you cant get a job in your own country cos you dont speak a foreign language. Immigrants who want to become London taxi drivers are now being offerered free English classes and other incentives such as a motorbike in order to help them pass.. but nothing for English people. Ive nothing against Poles.. in fact I have one at home, but surely this madness can only happen in a crazy country like England.. where we seem to prefer to give jobs to immigrants other than our own people.

Love / Sad :( I feel i have lost something very special [32]

It is incredible that the phrases your Polish girlfriends have used are exactly the same as mine.

maybe they are the same women?? Just like to throw in.. that its not only Polish women who are complicated.. as an English girl with a Polish man things are also tricky at times due to those 'cultural' differences...but hey, life is not meant to be easy is it otherwise we would all be bored s***less.

why dont you apply for dual nationality? then you would have the right to live and work in the UK as an EU citizen. I assume that you could hold both a SA and a Polish passport? I dont think it would be of any influence that you got married in the UK since neither of you are British... might be wrong about this though.
