Love / What makes Polish girls tick - or is it just women in general....:-) [64]

As for the faithfull thing I dont know, back at his mums lol...thats a bit norman bates :) not very impressive to the Polish woman :) Honey you just look after yourself and your son and figure out ways to keep yourself occupied at this terrible time, Im aware because Ive had very close friends go through similar stuff, they have given their lives to loving and bringing up their kids and looking after the home and having a career, nice holidays, nice homes and then bang, Im sorry luv but Ive met someone and I love her so Im off !!! Be very shrewd when it comes to dividing the money and make sure you dont get screwed over

The child is being born in Poland but it makes no difference to passport rights as my son has a British and a Polish passport though never visits Poland and was born in Guildford

It wasnt passport rights I was on about it was parental rights, if the child is born in Poland the mother will have more rights.

Read my posts, U and you see that married men are not ashamed of saying that they are married so I personally think that he did tell the Polish girl. I think I have made it clear that I think that this man is a piece of dirt but that doesnt make him a liar, in fact he's been very up front with his wife about everything, phoning on xmas eve to let her know that he had got a woman pregnant and that their marriage was over - hmmm, explain that one to your son on xmas day over the christmas presents and turkey dinner :) This lady Im guessing is in her late 40is and has just had her life devastated and you seem to think its okay.

On the otherhand he's left enough destruction why create more?

He has and she was part of that, there is the word NO in the dictionary and please dont say "we cant help who we fall in love with" we are all free thinking and know the difference between right and wrong and dating married men is wrong.

I dont think that would be a good idea. The woman has not fallen in love and got pregnant to hurt jackson51. She doent even know the woman

Okay so that makes everything okay - if only life was that simple :) So if your wife ever meets someone I can say the same to you :)

No problem Mrs J, I have seen friends go through similar situations over the years and they have come out of it the other side stronger - invest time in yourself and spend time with friends, it will help X

The woman should have stayed away from a married man, the woman should not have got pregnant to a married man and maybe she should think of all the consequences in stead of sod everyone else Im happy as for the whole unborn child thing, what about Mrs J's son, he has an absent father now. I didnt expect a man to be sympathetic to a story like this!

I don't think that's a good idea....did he tell her he was married before they had the affair? I doubt it. I think by doing such a thing would lower you to his level.

Ranj, I know where you are coming from, but I dont believe that he didnt tell her he was married, English men are quite honest when it comes down to things like that, also the fact that this Polish girl got pregnant, was that part of her plan?? I say dont get mad get even and if rubbishing her name does it then so be it, what has Mrs J got to lose, she has already lost the man she married 23 years ago, she has lost the financial security which she would have had after retirement and her son is being pushed aside...I say she has pretty much ever right to do whatever she feels will make her feel better.

Time to be honest with yourself, your girlfriend and your ex-wife!

I agree for the most part, but why on earth shouldnt he be able to send a card to his x wife?? no harm in that, after all she didnt do anything wrong and is blissfully unaware what has happened - Im not sure if you have ever had a long term relationship that has ended on good terms, people still meet for drinks and get on, the Polish girl has made her bed she should lie in it, she was happy enough to have an affair with this guy, she got what she wanted he left his wife, is that no enough?? must he never speak to this woman who was in his life for some years. She needs to grow up!

I wonder if her company know that she is planning to leave for England, maybe you should email their personnel department and let them know what she has done and what she is planning to do - mail: biuro@vegex.pl .

They wont be happy that one of their employees has been messing about with married men :) and you know what Poland's views on family and marriage are like, they are very good catholics :)

Love / Are all Polish girls skinny? [85]

healthy food and an active life style will keep you in good shape - you dont need to go the gym 5 times a week, walking and taking the stairs at work instead of taking the lift is just as good, diets are evil and in most cases unhealthy and I thank god that I have never been on one...and if you cant be bothered with breakfast, drink a pint of water this kick starts the metabolism, personally I prefer a banana, good for the mind and body :) and woman should have curves and not bones sticking out

Who knows, she will be isolated with a young baby, he will be going off on business, and she knows all to well what he is capable of getting up to when he's away :) one thing that does make me think is that she is waiting until the baby is born to move over here, the baby will be registered in Poland and will have a Polish passport, so if things do go wrong she wont really have problems just uping sticks and moving back, if it is born here your soon to be x husband has more rights, the reason I know this is because my friend was married to a Greek guy and she came home to have the baby here for the above reasons - they ended up getting divorced because she ended up wanting to live in England - he managed to live here for a couple of months and then went back to Greece, some people just can hack it in another country, we all need support networks and usually family and close friends win in the end over partners - my friend had been out in Greece for many years and had good friends but she just wanted to be close to family - the Polish woman on the other hand has nobody here so who knows how she will adapt, but for sure she is ensuring that she has more rights than your husband has where the child is concerned.

NIce man!!!! my advice is take the bast*rd for everything he has including his pension, hit him where it hurts, every cloud has a silver lining, make this yours! and just remember all the sleepless nights he is going to have with a new born baby crying, at his age does he really need that :)

News / Abortion - how is the Polish government going to deal with this issue? [273]

FISZ

I will honstly admit I am out of my depth on this one because I had a very strict upbringing and my niece is a sweet child at 15 (not developed and involved in lots of activities and no time for boys) and as a woman I would rather my daughter be brough up like I was "with the fear of father" oh "and brothers" oh "a strict catholic upbringing" it worked for me :)

UK, Ireland / Polish girls 'too pretty' for British schools [150]

Okay, I have to say something, in Krakow they have some fantastic womens shops that are full of very feminine clothes and as I worked as I machinest for 3 years when I left school I can say the quality is better than over in the UK (UNLESS YOU PAY THROUGH THE NOSE) and as Giles said its all down to spending power, whilst I didnt mind paying .... for a dress it was probably a weeks wage for someone in Poland...

In the US it seems as some teens aren't even getting abortions. They're too scared, so they just kill the baby. One was just found last week in a black garbage bag on her back porch. Do these sort of derranged things happen often in the UK or PL?

Not that I know of, people leave babies on hospital steps or in churches, or in places they will be found, they dont kill them, I have never read anything in the paper to indicate this.

At one time eveyone has been at war with someone or other, its history and as interesting as it is to discuss I dont personally feel that we need to argue over it on a forum. :)

The UK expects teenages pregnancies to decline, they now offering the morning after pill in schools, good thing or bad thing?

I understand what Mr M is saying but women are the ones at the end of the day who are going to have to live with whatever they decide to do, a man on the other hand is not going to mentally scared by an abortion or have to live with an unwanted child, Im not saying that a man is not going to be unaffected at all but not to the degree the woman is.

News / Abortion - how is the Polish government going to deal with this issue? [273]

things are changing in the UK, private clinics are starting to move away from what was a very lucrative business - and the national health service is questioning - "life style" abortions, since we have free contraception in the UK and the morning after pill is sold over the counter I see no real reason for abortions to be as high in the UK as they are, I know that there will circumstances where a woman will have little or no choice in the matter but these are few and far between and from what I remember they are trying to bring down the amount of weeks pregrant a woman is to have an abortion. I have friends who have had abortions and it was their choice and I dont judge, we all have our own opinions and each Country will have its own stance on this matter.
