Study / Back to the college, want to continue studies in Poland... [13]

but I am sure that it does not mean quite the same amount as it once did either in the West or in Poland for that matter.

the education system here in poland is very good compared to most the countries ive visited. its more to do with a cultural pride in having an education. unlike the majority of british 16 year old chavs who think uni is a bit of a toffs way to go. god when a government pays school-kids to stay on at school it really shows what the attitudes of the students are towards education.

Food / Whats your favourate hot alcoholic drink? [26]

Recently ive been trying to expand my tastes in alcohol, for scientific reasons only of course. i came across the famous hot wine on krakows market square. it so yummy, but also goes straight to your head:) i found when exploring the market that drinking this and eating the grilled mountain cheese is an exceptional way to keep warm and prolong your need for the indoors.

id also like to know if anyone has good recipes for alcoholic drinks that keep your temperature up, or gets you drunk enough to forget the cold:)

UK, Ireland / Poles in the UK sleeping in toilets [165]

there are far more articels and statistics where this came from

all your day is spent on bbc...hmmm

house prices rise because there is a shortage of houses due to eastern europeans renting them, they dont have to actually buy prperty for house prices to
rise

im sorry but i thought house prices increased due to the amount off people wanting to buy them..... shouldnt it be rental prices that increase??

clown college ?

ahhhh so your my student whose dad pays for the courses?? im glad you were tryng soo hard to set up the insult......try harder bluenose

this is a blatant lie.

prove me wrong then???? or can you?

only if thehy have paid too much tax

the same as poles. oh heres a fact you didnt know, up till this year polish people also had to pay tax in poland while working in the uk. would you work if you had to pay 40%???

having well over 700,000 poles move to britain along with other eastern europeans in just two years and we are expected to build housing for them.

is it the poles fault, ive yet to hear of a polish person buying property. the housing problem was there long before poland became part of the E.U

as my dad pays for my fees

why dont you get a full time job to pay it yourself, sounds like your free-loading

what and where do you teach dtaylor

i teach medical english, where, cant you work it out yet??

mass immgration of eastern europeans who claim all manners of benefits

i dont see any mass from abroad trying to claim benefits!! most poles come to work, simple and the truth.

tax being rbetaed back to them

brittish people can have a tax rebate aswell, so again whats your point?

and have a severe adverse affect on socia structures, house pricing

first thing is, the mass majority off poles integrate quickly into sociaty, i think its the brits like you who are to blame for this problem, by refusing to accept them.

secondly, HOUSE PRICES!! well im sorry but i doubt if the poles are buying up the real estate, the problem with the housing in scotland is du to the shortage of new homes being built, i dont think thats a poles problem, and if you know your politics you would see that the SNP have already addressed this problem and put into place new laws so that every new housing scheme must have a percentage of homes with a capped house price so that everybody is able to afford a new home.

last thing, your a rangers fan yes??

I work part time in the real world

job seekers allowance yes???

that is vastly inferior to our own.

have you ever met a ned?? or are you one??

and whats your point, britain is part of the E.U so if poles or any other persons from the E.U want to live in the uk so what!!

are you saying i shouldnt have right to be living in poland??

britain may have a low unemployment rate, but if the poles left, what do you think it would be then?
