Love / I've met a Polish girl, and have feelings for her... [44]

I agree with you Jambo that men have feelings too and that the novelty wears off.. but he is 20 years old and is being offered sex on a plate with a sexy older woman who is leaving the country in a couple of months... I think most young guys would find that perfect... just my opinion of course ;)

Love / How do I get my Polish girlfriend back?? [26]

sorry for the editing Peter.. I was going to post something showing that I empathised with you situation, but then changed my mind as it felt too personal to put on here. Anyway I wish you good luck with the Polish woman.. but having seen your pic I dont think you'll have any probs finding another woman who may deserve you more.. although Im sure thats not what you want right now.

UK, Ireland / Trying to find out what Poles like to do in the UK [35]

exactly. and who cares where we live..we all here cos we have an interest in Poland and Polish people. Michal doesnt live in Poland, hasnt been there for years and bases all his opinions on a clearly unhappy marriage with a Polish woman imho. I dont profess to be Polish or live there, but Im not here to slate the people and country either.. why the hell would you bother.. just get a life

UK, Ireland / English people attitude towards Poles? [761]

LOL. Not exactly.. there are different fashions in the UK you know. I think its more a case of upgrading from Peacocks and Primark to Topman etc..and buying trendier jeans.. he does have an earring in his left ear though.. which he has to take out when he goes to visit Poland as his mom thinks its subversive..

Work / I'm from Canada. Becoming an English teacher in Poland [8]

is it obligatory to have a teaching qualification if you have a degree and some experience? how easy is it to find a job.. is there a lot of competition and do you get paid by the hour or a fixed wage? Is it legal to just to put an ad in the local newspaper without going through a company?

Love / OK then Girls, whats good about the Polish lady?? [46]

Then you will never have them then, because the more you do the more you want to do and the older you get the more selfish you get.

well said meerkat.. you are absolutely right. If only we had the wisdom that age brings when we had the youth to enjoy it.. not speaking for myself of course! You cannot put an age on when you are going to do such things by and if you do you are likely to end up with the wrong person out of desperation.. just go with the flow, until you meet someone you really want to be with.. regardless of age.. unfortunately women do have a biological clock.. but better to be childless than knock out sprogs with an unsuitable partner and end up in a miserable relationship or as a single parent.

What doesn't your BF like about Poles in the UK Sapphire?

well I am generalising, but the way they (young men) hang in the streets and parks drinking xtra strong lager, make a prat of themselves in nightclubs and bars by getting wasted, dancing horribly, their dodgy dress sense and non stop use of the C word... sometimes he is embarrassed to be Polish as he doesnt want to be seen as being like that. I have no comment to make, other than that he dresses a whole lot nicer since being with me :)

Food / Polish for Cilantro [5]

i dont know the polish word, but cilantro is spanish for coriander.. so if you look for a translation for coriander you might be more successful.

UK, Ireland / English people attitude towards Poles? [761]

i actually said 'a lot', not 'most'...its a subtle difference.. and my bf is also one of them at times! (myself being the exception of course) Of course I dont like it, but I love him and all his faults.. and I believe its my role to try to change his opinion of English people. On the other hand, most of the time he hates Polish people in the UK as well.. so he most probably just likes a good moan.

North West .

I know that's a large area but this is a public forum.

I think you may be being a tad over cautious!

dodgy music in the early hours

I get that in my own bloody house!... who the hell sings that Postwaly mnie w dupa song anyway? (sorry for spelling).

UK, Ireland / English people attitude towards Poles? [761]

many English people think Poles use horse and carts and eat cabbage all day, washed down with vodka, thats not really the case now is it.

damn is that not true then?

I do actually agree that there a lot of Poles in the UK who dont like British people, they are here to make money pure and simple and have no desire to make friends with English people.. who they often consider to be stupid, lazy and lacking in culture. Im sorry to say this, but this is my observation.

Love / Polish mail order brides? [89]

ok we need to keep this shtum tho. as someone might nick the idea. I think you should do the personal interviews and I'll do the pics (headshots only tho. nothing too racy) It will be easier to have it as a website rather than a catalogue. Seems like a lot of work tho. Bugger it, lets just post a thread on here instead asking for Polish men looking for foreign women! We will be discounting those that dont speak English tho.. and they are often the best :)

Love / Polish mail order brides? [89]

you dont have to pay! only £7.95 for the catalogue (inc. P & P) you can then make direct contact. Small fee payable if marriage occurs. Although Id be happy to vet the men personally, I would probably need some assistance.

News / LPR - League of the Polish Repressed (and retarded) [49]

also I have seen blokes get aggressive after weed...

Also my brother both work in mental health and you would be surprised the amount of patients they have that have problems because of drugs (and yes some only smoked weed)

as a long time weed smoker I feel compelled to respond to this. As Im sure we are all aware there are various strains of cannabis, ranging from very mild to extremely strong.... its is true that some of the stronger ones can cause mental health problems, if consumed in large quantities over a long period of time.. however, for the vast majority of cannabis users this is not a problem. I have also NEVER seem someone get agressive after smoking weed, no matter how strong.. and there is no evidence to suggest that it is physically addictive, although it can be psychologically addictive. Its more likely that people will get addicted to the tobacco that they mix it with. Alcohol is far more addictive and dangerous than cannabis will ever be.. imho. Anyway, Ive never heard of the LPR but they sound like a bunch of tossers.

Life / Are Poles happy with their sex lives? [33]

I'm merely asking the question Greg? My own sexual preferences are not up for discussion here.. Its just an observation that some Poles can appear to be conservative at times, but imo its normally these quieter types that quite easily get into all kinds once exposed to certain things that they havent neccessarily been before... dont know if that makes sense?

Life / Are Poles happy with their sex lives? [33]

seriously, I was wondering if there is any fetish scene in Poland? some Polish people Ive come across here seem a bit shocked by that kind of thing.
