Life / Are Polish traditions dissapearing [93]

I really don't think Polish traditions dispappearing. In America my cousins are keeping these Polish Traditionas going. They still have old fashioned Wedding too and foods too.

My parents are gone and so my aunts & uncles. Good things my cousins from Poland are visiting us and we are still keeping it.

Some of us are marrying to other foreigners which it hard to keep up traditions. Some do not like ours. Which is okay by us? We try to celebrating their customs traditions too. Which is fair?

Language / How does Polish sound to you? How to make Polish sound more pleasurable? [100]

I always thought Russians people are like Turkish people.

Polish people been raised by German & Austrian people for thousand years, Polish people are speaking same way as German sound.

Polish people do holler all the time. German people seem kinda firm and control. Oh what ever???????

Love / Broken Heart, An amazing girl from Poland [139]

I think you knew she had baby and her boyfriend living in Poland. Why did you bother with her? She was only working for few weeks and she was going to leave England. That is why people need money and somehow somebody always falled in love with somebody.

If it was me, if person is married and have family in Europe or other states. Don't waste your time thinking this person will leave their familiy for you. You should leave them alone and find single person.

Love / Are all Polish women the same..... [81]

My grandparents came from Poland and so my ancestors. I am Polish too. I hate when someone think we are nothings. I think you all are doing wonderful things keeping Poland customs. Foods, musics and holidays. It is wonderful. I am glad you all are friend with U.S.A.

We really are confuing because of our genes. Lot of people are doing DNA. I was thinking about it. I don't know. Sometime I think I am not Polish but I am different nationality. I like to know which one. I would be happy to know. I don't mind if I am Russian, French or Sweden etc.

DON'T BE SHAME OF WHO YOU ARE?
Be Proud.

Love / Are all Polish women the same..... [81]

Get used it. There isn't nothing to be shame of. Our ancestors came all over world and settled in Poland. It is very confusing but you have to know Poland History. That is why Polish women do things similar in different cities in Poland. Not like America. We have all kind of nationaliities. In Poland women are trying to keep Polish traditions going. And so men.

Poland have long way to go.

Love / Are all Polish women the same..... [81]

Yes, Polish women are same and living in Poland. But only one of parents is married to foreigners. Some women or men might have different ideas how they want to lives or where they want to lives in Poland or their other ancestors' native lands.

It is like split personalities. Poland married Russian. Poland married Greek. Poland married China. Poland married Spanish. Poland married Black.

Get it.

Life / How often do you think Poles smile :) [58]

It is okay to smile all the time. I always get trouble when I smiled at people and they think I want something from them in public place.

At work, I am not allow to smile because my boss think I am goofying around and talking too much. I tried not to smile at work but I had to look serious business face when come to talk to my boss. Then I smile and he smiled back when we are done talking. Whew!

At bus I smiles at little kids and mother or father think I am after their child. So I just say hello little baby and walk away from them.

When I smiled at new men and they think I wanted sex from them. I had to leave them otherwise one of man will follow me.

At club, I look at President and he think I want to do something for him like putting placemats and silverwares on tables. I got stuck and had to do it. Good things other people offered to help me. So I walked away. Whew!

See what Smile can do!

Maybe some people don't feel good because they might have sinus or allergies problems. It is awfully hard to smile.

I just wave to say HI!

Food / Is it just me, or is the Polish diet rather unhealthy? [119]

I think it is mayonnaise making you sick. I noticed when I make sandwiches and I get upset stomach. My favorite is Tuna Salad and Egg Salad during Lents. And lot of butter and margarine do make me upset stomach also. Even cookies, cakes and any thing sweets.

And drinking liquors isn't good also.

News / Exploitation of Poles working abroad [30]

I am so glad I never had problem with companies. I alway make rules to be hired and checked around companies office. I checked to see what kind of people are working over there. I saw somethings I didn't like. I declined this job offer and when on for another interviews. If I liked this company and if company called me to offer me job. I alway taken this jobs. I make sure if company have rules, policies and human rights also.

If company treated people bad like they hired you for office work, boss put you to wash the floor. I will tell boss I wasn't hired for this job but only office work. Then quit. Start looking for another job.

As getting job in different countries, I would checks out their rules and polices. I really hate to leave my home for stranger country.

That is me.
