UK, Ireland / How do people perceive Poland in the UK? [28]

Yet another generalisation, I'd say most people in the UK have passports and travel quite a bit and are not in the slightest bit ignorant - but dont we all love to generalise :- )

Well I have a couple of female friends who are lesbians, both are in committed relationships and to me are just the same as all my other friends - their sexuallity has nothing to do with anything

Edit...G people make their own choices and you should respect that, nothing disgusting about two people being in love - things are different in England people are more accepting of those that dont fit the norm - if you are considering coming to England then you really need to accept that you will see gay people in the street.

Life / How are Poles generally viewed outside Poland by other nations? [84]

You just make it worse Fisz, face it, we all say hard times. I'm an American myself but none absolutely none says "difficult times"definately not an English native speaker.

I say difficult times - suggest you purchase (or should I have said buy?) a dictionary :)

Love / Polish men and sex [89]

Regarding the colored children. That has to be one of the most pathetic mind to think that. :) ...

You have probably never come across bullying of children who are neither white nor black, not actually accepted by one or the other - I have so llike many Polish are fond of saying, I know the REALITY - you dont, I also heard that someone on here who has children who are mixed race had her children called animals in the street, so I dont think it was pathetic, its my opinion

And there isnt enough money in the world to make me date someone asian wrong colour wrong culture, we all know you have your own little world where everything is rosey and you and your asian g/f will live happily ever after, lets see how your children will cope at school :)

Love / Polish men and sex [89]

I would never be in a situation where I would be asked by a Pakistani, Im attracted to light skinned men who come from a similar culture to mine - less problems and when I say problems I mean, children who are confussed about their identity and famlies that dissagree with the match. - I hope that cures your curiosity :)

Life / Are shaved heads a bad idea in Poland? [36]

Sounds like heaven to me, oh! that must have been the reason I enjoyed Poland so much in the summer :)

Oh come on judge someone by their actions and not what they look like - not all muscles bound skin heads are meat heads

Love / Polish men and sex [89]

we always had a saying, one you miss out on is one you never catch up on.

I never felt like I missed out because I didn't sleep with someone, if a guy wont wait, his loss, not mine.

my boyfriend is polish and we didnt have sex till three weeks in to the relationship,

Blimey, if I'd had slept with every guy I had only dated for such a short period I'd be up to Anabel Chongs standards...It takes that long for me to work if I like them or no.

maybe it's another generalisation but I think it's a Polish thing

I totally agree, I have brothers who open doors and are polite, oh and they're not Polish just brought up well

not that it works though, most women think you're a wuss anyway for doing that in my experience

A lady doesnt :)

Sounds like he's just a nice guy who prefers to get to know someone before getting involved sexually, nothing wrong with that - and a few weeks isn't exactly a long time to wait
