USA, Canada / I might be moving to Florida.... [36]
They built another bridge theres 4 of them now, I know what you mean though
especially during season trying to get on or off the beach took forever.
I worked right on the beach so I just rode my bicycle mostly, thats the best way
to get around.
Mostly I disliked it for the traffic, for almost a year I had to drive through downtown Ft Myers (41) five days a week

She went back to Poland to vist her Mother and now shes not allowed to

I have to agree Sarasota is nicer, Siesta Key is beautiful.
We had Sanibel and Captiva Islands though?
The city if Ft.Myers has some nasty parts,
I lived on Ft. Myers Bh thats where all the fun is at:)
I grew up between Sarasota (lovely, one of my favorite FL cities in the day) and Ft Myers (not ... so nice)

Yeah dont do it, they think Pizza Hut tastes good..yuck!
Theres only 2 places where they make good Pizza...N.Y. or Chicago

I know that its on the summerfest grounds that place is huge!
Summerfest starts in 2 weeks , now thats the Worlds largest music festival
thier having over 700 bands there this year...summerfest.com
I`ll most likley go up there a couple times for that.
I cant imagaine Milwaukees polish fest attracting more people than ours here
in Chicago?
I wouldnt mind going to compare the difference.

I went last night to see B.B. King and was totally dissapointed, he kept stopping
in the middle of his songs to talk about the Democratic party.
I came to a music festival not a political rally!
About every 5 minutes theres some Black person asking me for money or a
cigarette, beer whatever they can try to get off you.
How about getting a job!!!!!!!!!

Its cheaper in Florida, I still dont think they have a state Income tax which is
always nice and food is cheaper there.
I remember people used to say you get half your pay in sunshine..lol
I made some good money as a bartender while down there.

Its true there are some good deals on Real Estate right now.
Ft. Myers, Bh is my favorite place, I lived there for 7 years before
I moved back to Chicago...
More money to be made in the Northern states compared to the South
Unskilled labor starts at $13.00 an hour, Skilled labor can go up to $30.00 an hour.
Wages are alot lower than that in Florida, most ppl have 2 jobs just to get by.
