Travel / LUBLIN. Any facts needed about the area. [16]

What could I expect to pay at tourist/local prices in Lublin?

have never been to lublin but i'm sure that prices are much friendlier from krakow's. eastern Poland is undiscovered not only for foreign tourists but also for majority of poles. from what i found on the net, regular beer prices in the old town pubs are 5 - 6 zl.

some photos from the old town:

 Lublin in Poland

center is being renovated. i belive you'll find in lublin charm of the historical city but it wont be overcrowded like krakow. enjoy

History / Poland war propaganda poster - can anyone explain this picture? [292]

Well..if we had chosen to fight some backwater tribe like say...the Zulus... we might have had the same success as the Brits....ooops!

that proves british cleverness. they had half of the world goods and territory. what did you accomplishe with your wars?

Would you see it the same if the Brits had decided to "civilize" your sorry corner of the world?

would your mama be your papa if she had a mustache ?

History / Poland war propaganda poster - can anyone explain this picture? [292]

Wanna compare?Boy if you wouldn't had meddled with Iraq or the ME in your high time wewouldn't even have today's wars there...Brits better shut up! The biggestwarmongers, invaders and exploiters of all people over centuries!Another good outcome of WWII, the Brits getting broke and losing all their stuff!

easy, bboy, easy :) first of all i'm not a brit. second: brits wanted to conquer the world and they succeed. in many god forbidden places they left the candle of civilisation. when germans wanted to make world german they just made a mess and left graves and ruins behind. see the difference? just like between the painter and retarded kid with coloured pencils :)

History / Poland war propaganda poster - can anyone explain this picture? [292]

....just propaganda, not so successful! :)

the poster has been created during Warsaw Uprising and they were very thrifty :)
but forget it, just say it loud: KAZDY POCISK JEDEN NIEMIEC. it still sounds like a music to the ears, isn't it? :)
