Life / Where can I buy very soft Toilet Paper in Poland? [47]

Regina isn't that expensive. It does the trick. At my grandparent's house in Inverness, they have soft paper and then this 2nd option which, for the world of me, I can't work out why they buy it. It's sth akin to sandpaper. It can actually cut your rectum, it's not really what I'd describe as toilet paper in the sense that it doesn't have ply rolls.

If your rectum doesn't get cut here, you'll be doing fine :)

Love / do polish girls consider a english man a good catch ? [126]

I know that feeling, where you are delighted to get to the final hurdle of the day. Labouring through the day can be living hell.

I have 2 hours off. I taught all morning and need to recharge the batteries before my 4-9 shift.

I'm surprised Cardno, I find the stuff we get back home to be much the same, even worse depending on what you buy, of course.

Try Regina, that's what I'm using at present. Try Velvet with the dog on the cover.

I have had a couple of rough ones but, generally, I find it fine and I've tried with a few over the years.

Although I can understand the urges, which are involuntary (that was for youz, Cheery and SeanBM), I would not cheat. Even more so in the case of marriage. It is an international phenomenon that people sleep around and cheat. My first Japanese girl was married. Even though I wasn't cheating on a partner, I still felt bad that she had a husband. He was an asshole apparently so I didn't feel bad for him, just for her inner confusion. Still, you take the consequences in life.

The thread is ridiculous, it depends on the person. To me, I'm an open guy so it doesn't matter where you are from. It matters that I can click and enjoy it.

Life / The Polish Moustache [35]

Yeah, I know what you mean. Rumour has it that they wake up an hour before everyone else, just to wax it and give it volume ;)

News / Dealing with constant insults against Polish [323]

Friends are the only things Scotsmen do buy :)

This is the key difference. We can laugh at ourselves much more. I remember writing a thread full of praise for Poland which contained one tiny slight at the Poles. True to form, the Pole picked up on it and didn't see the funny side.

Did you know that the Scots hang their toilet paper out to dry?

News / POLES the BLACKS of EUROPE? [104]

Greg wouldn't tolerate the Poles being ridiculed, Dziedzic. He is pro-Poland.

I, for one, fail to see where you guys differ on this point.

History / Pan-Slavic dreams of Polish/Russian cooperation. [12]

The Ukrainians are working closely with the Russians, Crow. The Poles are working ever more closely with the Ukrainians too.

Poland and Russia? Drop Kaczyński and you have a prayer

Yeah, he thought his gay lover would be behind him all the way, prodding him when support was needed. His lover grew to dislike him. He got a bum deal and took it hard when his lover pulled out of the hole he had gotten into.

News / POLES the BLACKS of EUROPE? [104]

Obama will be running the country in the sense of carrying out operations passed down from above.

Greg, do you seriously think he'll have complete control of everything? Others pull the strings my friend

Language / Jechac or Jezdzic? [35]

I had a reading with a French teacher the other week and she said I did just fine. My first time for 13 years. So, no thanks.

How about English? I'll stick with that

Look, you had krysia tell you that you were wrong, I'd trust her any day of the week.

News / What did Poland get out of the wars and struggles for others? [1108]

Germany would be masters of Europe, not just the continent? That sounds like a Bushism, sorry Kilkline.

I think you meant to say continental Europe.

In pure terms, Hitler was at an instant advantage as he had had more time to plan. He could have gone back to the drawing board a hundred times just to more fully think his various strategies through.

Assembling troops and other deployments for war doesn't happen overnight. Look at America, they had been planning attacks on Iraq and Afghanistan for years. The final months before 9/11 involved a lot of intensive operations to put everything in the right place.

Love / How Many Dates Before Sex in Poland? [86]

This is a tough one so I'll merely state what I consider to be some words of wisdom in many cases.

It's the HP motto, 'the best things come to those who wait'.

Give it up, Michał. Seriously, you are wrong.

youtube.com/watch?v=Jzd5d1Z5QAc, Urke by Wilki

Now, correct me if I am wrong, he says "za każdy dzień..."

Maybe you should drink for better times, Michał. Let me guess, you are gonna tell me that Mr Gawlinski isn't Polish. Go on, do it.

Maybe it is you who has zgubiony szczęscie, wykorżystaj te chwile and admit you are wrong.

Co means what, Michał. Poles prefer to say each day, każdy dzień, or a conjugated form of it.
