Law / The new Law in acquisation of Polish citizenship in 2009 [15]

I heard on the TV(TVP) that soon the polish government will soon pass a law that before anybody can apply for polish citizenship irrespective of any situation must pass a polish language test/examination.

Great idea...knowing the difficulties of the polish language it will be a to high hurdle for most to pass...both thumbs up! :)

(We should make German much more difficult too...)

Never the less I don't see connection here.

Na ja....to make things short....we wanted land back we thought which belongs to us (without much of the people there of course) and ended up much smaller than before.

Serbia is a much more recent example..
Why do you think Poland would be any different?

Better help Ukraine finding their feet, then lobby for them for membership, then Poles and Ukrainians can settle/resettle where they want....current borders losing their importance!

hmm.. the shield isn't scrapped at all. i just read his speech and it's being revamped. poland is still part of the plan.

Well...it brought tears to the eyes of some anonymus spokesperson...I think we can be fairly sure it's scrapped!

Next time the Russians are threatening their neighbors, ask France or Germany to build a missile defence system for you, or spend $50 billion from your own packet

We are together in the NATO...if the US want's to shed it's responsibilities as in help if one member state should be attacked it should leave...but it won't so this point is moot.

And if you hint at Georgia....as everybody and his grandmom should know by now this was a political gamble by Saakashvili gone bad, not more, not less.

Idiot who want's to meddle in such an affair - not to mention building a missile system to support such a nut....

Most people in Europe and also in the concerned countries where against that shield on their soil - the Bushies pushed this project nonetheless...THAT should tell you something...

...one of my great grandfathers was sent to a forced labor camp on the German Belgian border, the other was a partisan leader they assassinated Wehrmacht troops, my great grandma could tell you how people from her neighboring village were shot in a nearby forest, or how the neighbors daughter a 10 yr old girl was shot in the head for being out past curfew, being late from schoo...

You sound like a young Pole who still hates the Germans like the old ones did....and for the same reasons.

Your blaming the Germans hating the Poles for what the Germans did sounds abit....um....curious....at least!

Again? I read first articles about it in May this year....

It's still the same I think...
