That's why it's on this date but it's not just for wars past....The British legion are there for service men and their families who are being affected by the current wars in Iraq and Afghanistan...that's what the money from the poppys are going to.....Soldiers that are getting blown to bits, then come home to an NHS waiting list, because this Government has closed down all the military hospitals

I never said that it would, I was talking about a Dutch families experience in Holland, the age of consent is something like 13, the laws are so liberal it makes it easier for paedophiles to prey on children. I never mentioned homosexuals, that has nothing to do with it. I was just commenting on one dutch families experience that has made them move to another country to live

Okay, I know this is nothing to do with the topic this thread is meant to be about, but it is relevant to some of the posts here…My Dad has Dutch friends who have moved to France, because they feel Holland is no longer a safe place to bring their children up, in particular they feel they are unable to protect their children from paedophiles
