Yeah we're talking about physical preference, even if it's not the most important thing, it's still the first impression you get at first sight, so it has some importance...Then of course a good looking person can be the most stupid and boring boy/girl, and on the other hand, a -so-called- normal (or worse "ugly") person can be the most "beautiful", rich, interesting, smart, funny, etc.

I know some kind English people living here, they're proud to be English, but they don't live there. They've been here for something like 20 years now, their son is a friend of mine. Many English people left the UK to live in the US, as there were Irish, Scots (and Poles too), they all are proud of their origins, but they wouldn't go back to Europe.

Some live in Germany which is near Poland... ;)
That's what Poles do, rebuilding their country. Few of them "flee" their country. Many are offered a job abroad. Most of Poles still live in Poland and don't plan to "flee" or anything else.

More particularly between Poles and Vikings (there were quite close, geographically, from each other).
One of the greatest "Viking" kings was Knut II. His mother is supposed to be Polish, a Polish princess. He ruled over Denmark, Norway, England and i think Sweden too...
Among the Viking sailors, it is said there were some Poles. Poles at that time were known for being good sailors, warriors...The Vikings discovered America in 1000, these Vikings may, for some of them, be Polish.
Poles and Vikings have always had good relationships.

If you're talking about the British Isles then maybe yes they settled more along the coast, but in many places. They even "created" the city of Dublin (one among others). Norwegians settled more in the northern part of the British Isles, and particularly the isles such as Isle of Man, the Shetland and Orkney islands, while the Danes settled in the south of England.

I do. - The things he says about Poland and Poles, as regards our Regained Territories (he suggests they are German and that the Germans will take them away from us), Gdansk (he says it's been German since 14th century; in reality, they grabbed it from us, by force, in the 18th century), he says that we Poles are 'so un-European' (a typical German vew, by the way; it's they who believe they define who is European and decide who is excluded from the club, just because Germans say so)
