If all he did was encourage the breeding of blond kids, he would be no more sinister than a breeder of arabian horses. It's the other side of his program (exterminating the races he hated) that was the problem.

I read somewhere on the www Hitler eventually regretted publishing Mein Kampf. I wonder why he ended up regretting it? Was it because he, eventually, started regretting what the Nazis did, or was it because it could be used as evidence, a blueprint for Nazi ideology, or was it for some other reason? Anyone here know?

This is very strange...Anyway, Israel is a fascinating journey of self discovery for any devout Christian. If I were a devout Christian or a scholar interested in learning more, I would visit the country. If I were interested in the history of the entire region, I would visit Egypt and Italy too.

Most believe he existed because of The Dead Sea scrolls. In Israel, you can take tours and a guide tells people about the history. A fascinating journey back in time for anyone who's interested. I'm sure scholars the world over have attended.

All this time the claim has been Jesus is Jewish and yet he wasn't? The claim is Jews killed Jesus and yet he wasn't even Jewish? Joe, Jesus is the saviour. That is what a messiah is. His followers thought he would save the jews. He was jewish too. His mother, Mary, was a jew and according to Talmudic law, if the mother is jewish so are the children. In the bible it says Jesus was from the King David/Solomon line too, he was prophesied.

Plenty of people think he's a false messiah and is leading people to destruction. Is something to think about, Joe, my friend.

Jesus was one messiah, Joe, and jews have many of them, as you know. They also had false messiahs. Why would Jesus need to say build gambling casinos?

I don't think it would be the same because there's no connection to the land like in Israel.
They want to be there Because of Isaac, Abraham, the twelve tribes and because God said it's their place.

Besides, they would rather be in NYC than that place in Russia.

Do you have the dictaphone recording of this?

You think they want to live in Russia, Seanus? I would think NY considering the orthodox community existing there now.

Try to get hold of Czeslaw Milosz's memoirs. He's a Nobel Prize winner in Lit. He lived in Poland in those days. A lot of interesting things to be learned from him.

I'll add that to my list of reads, sounds like it would be interesting.

Easterns Jews are mainly known for their yeshivas and their Rabbies, german Jews for their scientific work.

Polish Jews were on self imposed internal exile. They didn't mingle with Poles nearly as much as German Jews did.

I'm not entirely convinced, Darius and I will give you a reason. Ghetto benches are PROOF jews mingled with Poles in the bigger cities. They weren't all isolated in shetls during a self imposed exile. Might have been true for some but certainly not for all.

Yeah but I read Ashkenazi moved out of Germany and further east and there were plenty in Poland. They kept the last names the Germans gave them which, I suppose, can be used to identify them as once living in Germany.

Aren't they turkish? I thought they were the ones with the dark hair and high cheekbones...I don't know about looking German...they lived in Germany for a while, then some moved away...but they look more Turkish because they kept to themselves and didn't mix with other peoples.

Yes, thank you, Darius, that's what I'm talking about and I wasn't specific enough in my other post. I've seen the Ashkenazi jews, the ones with dark hair, high cheek bones, they look turkish to some extent...I've also seen another type who looks more like the stereotypical European jew, what everyone pictures when they think of European jews. Those were the ones I wondered about...some of them look like artwork depicting ancient canaanites except with lighter skin and thinner lips.

That's something I hadn't thought of...could just be due to being further north, a colder climate. After several generations the skin becomes lighter, just like it does with other caucasions who moved north.

No, no, "slaves" is a typo, I meant "slavs" as in Ukrainians, Czechs, Russians, Kashubians, Sorbs, etc. I also made the mistake of typing "races" when I really meant "ethnicities". We are all caucasians so what does it matter?

As for pale jew and pale pole creating a dark skinned pole...I never wrote that. One question I have about jews though...when you see drawings of the ancient Canaanites and other artwork featuring them, they are dark. So why is it Polish Jews are mostly light complected? Wouldn't that mean they are mixed with people who have lighter skin tones?

Just because you happen to be a gay man doesn’t mean that you don’t have to learn how to become one. Gay men do some of that learning on their own, but often we learn how to be gay from others, either because we look to them for instruction or because they simply tell us what they think we need to know, whether we ask for their advice or not.

This is the paragraph I have a problem with. It epitomizes what I am talking about. A pushy agenda telling people they are gay.

I'm not intolerant. I have no problems with anyone being gay. The only thing I don't like is them thinking everyone is exactly like them then they try to impose it on others. The ones who have respect for other's choices...why would anyone mind? It's their business.

Constantine, I am sorta confused...for one thing I thought you were a woman, like me. I am not a guy.
Personally, if you were gay, it wouldn't matter to me so if you want to say you are gay, it doesn't bother me. I think people should be who they are but not pushy with others.

I have known gays who have told me this so I know some of them believe it. They want to seduce a straight guy because they think everyone is gay they just need to be seduced. I disagree with this mentality. It's too pushy.

I think he and others who think like him have a legitimate point. They aren't into the gay lifestyle and some gays will say they are homophobic and closeted because they are not. He isn't saying he is anti gay, he's saying he doesn't like the pushiness of the agenda. The idea that everyone is gay or bi and it's part of sexuality for everyone and if you disagree you are a closeted homosexual. Some gays really do think this way.
