Hi, My name is Witold Simon. I am looking for my distant cousins: descendants of two brothers Stanley and Joseph Simon.

They were brothers of my grandfather Antoni Simon.
Joseph (Józef) and Stanley (Stanisław) immigrated to USA from little town in Polish Galicia: Polesie-Grzymalow (now in Ukraine, at that time part of Austria-Hungarian Empire).

Joseph was born on 01/25/1888. Stanley was born on 12/13/1892. They both entered US in Philadelphia. Stanley sailed from Bremen (Germany) and reached the American land on 11/17/1910. Stanley was living in Philadelphia in 1947 under the address: 2501, w Thompson St. Phila 21.

Stanley and Joseph had 4 brothers (including Antoni my grandfather) and 2 sisters who remained in Poland.

Joseph had apparently two daughters.
Stanley had children: Joseph, Edward, Genevieve, Leon, Paul and Maria.

Their father Johann (Joannes) came apparently from France or Germany.
Their mother was Emilia Linkowska, of Polish family.

That is what I know.

Does it ring a bell?

If yes, please contact me at: witold.simon@wp.pl

All the best,

Witold Simon

Thses questions always crack me up. Do you realize there are millions of people that live here so the question is insane to ask. Since they came to the US in late 1800's I would try Ellis Island as that is where most had to go through back then. Otherwise you will have to do much research and try to piecce the info. Lots of time and patients I'm afraid. Do you belong to a genelogy or ancestory group. Goo Luck.

some people get responses on here.. I dont know why that would be funny, but
just from a personal point of view, its very hard to do this, some might not have
experience enough to know. and its not fun to get doors slammed in your face
when your trying to reach the unreachable ( which is how one feels when doing
genealogy)..

its a very long and tedious piece of homework that really never gets done.
you will never find the beginning, nor will you ever conclude its end.

you will only find a section of your familys life with the help of a stranger.

Simon.

are you sure that the name is spelled simon or Szimon? or maybe Szymon
