So the West proposes their junk foods to Poland. What about the Polish cuisine - which POLISH food chains (are there any? - maybe "Chlopskie jadlo") have a chance to become a success in Europe or the world?

"Sami Swoi" offers very good Polish cuisine and high quality, no fast food. If you want to try the best Polish dishes, visit this place.

Hopefully Patel hasnt made it there yet

love any kind of filling as long as it's white and comes out of something that's 12 inches long.

Yep, there's an In n Out burger down the street and the food is definitely good. But I haven't been there in a long time. I wonder if they have In n Out in Poland.

I wonder if the Carl's Juniors in Poland have chipotle salads. (chipotle=Aztec Indian spice)

If only. That's what the US needs. The only Polish fast food here is packaged imitation Polish sausage in the supermarkets. Sometimes Wienerschnitzel has a Polish sausage sandwhich "for a limited time" and then they're gone.

Not quite. I have tons of good Polish deli's where I live. You just have a lot of good mexican food. When I lived in Alameda, I'd get the hugest burritos. I've never seen such huge burritos.

I have tons of good Polish deli's where I live. You just have a lot of good mexican food.

The only Polish restaurant near me went out of business and a Mexican restaurant took it's place. As if we need another Mexican restaurant.

I've only been to one Mexican restaurant in Poznan Czerwone Sombrero and there's The Mexican. Nothing compared to our Burritos...but the margaritas were tasty :)

there was a small mexican place in sopot about ten years ago... next to No.5 on monte casino... excelent food... ahead of its time and quickly shut down as a result... there are others in the tri city which pale in comparison... el paso in oliwa is ok... but dont be putting none of that carrot sh*t in burrito esay...

Yes, we have McDonalds and so... but you know I go there ones a year :) . I can say only about myself. And fast food , or however you call it, is pretty expencive in Poland. For 10 or 15 zł (burger, fries and coke) I can buy main course in restaurant, healthy and tasty.

Food at school : mug of milk , soup (i.g. milk soup, chicken, mushroom...) , bread, meat (i.g. meat ball) and lots of potatos, or pasta.

The flavor:).....actually, I was never aware that we ever had JITB in the midwest (I only saw it in the south and the west), but if it was shut down due to its serving horse meat, my guess is they didn't advertise it as such.
