Buying land near the Vistula/Wisla in Poland?

Does anyone know if its possible to buy land on the banks of the Vistula near (I know near is subjective, ideally within a 20 min drive, but I doubt that is realistic) Krakow, ideally West rather than East, but that's not the be all and end all. It would be purchased by a Polish national and would be used for residential (not commercial) purposes, i.e. to build a house with river views.

I've not seen any plots for sale at all, so I'm wondering if they are protected or simply just not available?

It's more likely that they're sold to people in the know.

There is a restriction on owning land close to a river and some lakes in PL, your plot has to be a certain distance away. Advice - there was quite bad flooding a few years back so it may be wise to build on the hill with a view of the river. In Krakow maybe somewhere around Tyniec.

Not sure why, but I really am attached to water views, so being on a hill with the river view still would be great!
