Hahaha, funny you should say that, was actually on whipma.... walking behind some Polish tourists, obviously completly oblivious that the person talking with a local accent could understand what they were saying....put it this way, they were referencing a certain event at Clifords Tower and using slightly more "off the cuff" terms to describe the people Id been talking about earlier when Id explained to my mate that actually,it wasnt a pogrom, the local Sheriff and his men at arms gave them full protection from a handfull of drunk medeivil chavs but, surprise surprise the "protectees" decided to ,well, kill their wives, their kids then themselves........................always reminds me of the Judean Suicide squad in Life of Brian.....

I went to a Chopper rally there...as it happens i went with a rather stunning Polish girl who was staying at my house while working in the UK....

And....to keep on thread...All my English friends thought she was great....but as a say , she was a bit of a stunner....

Wrong, I hate being hot, it makes me irritable and bad tempered.

hottest day of the year so far

hottest here in Scotland

I see Brits don't like the hot just like Poles. I hate it when it get's hot and humid especially here in the States it feels like you're suffocating. That's not summer, summer is supposed to be enjoyable.

I like it, though only when i'm not working. Hate stuffy units with no air-con.

Face it,we just aint adapted to it :) Saying that though,Im like you,I dont mind hot,its humid that gets me. The trouble for us over here though is we go from a 20 below winter through a Mweh, spring and all of a sudden the temp' shoots up to silly levels for s few days and we all burn to a crisp soaking up every last ray. Thats fine if its the usuall 3 day heatwave where on the fourth day our hoodies and trousers can go back on(god, british men and shorts,no no no!!!) but if it lasts more than a week the moaning starts again :)

Yeah, I notice Poles don't take the heat well.

Oddly enough Scandanavians seem to love the heat. My Swedish American neighbor loves it when it is more than 90 degrees out HAHAHA
Scandanavians love hot tubs & Saunas.

it is strange. It almost makes it seem like Scandanavians don't belong in Scandanavia.

Poles are really built better for the Cold. We have more Stocky proportions & More rounded skulls that retain heat better.

Alot of Scandanavians are actually kind of built like Somalians are with that very long & thin body & head structure which helps radiate heat cooling them off.

Man I hate heat and humidity too! I cant stand going to country like Taiwan. I would be cooked.
I am very pale with blonde hair and blue/green eyes which makes sense though.

Poles can't take a hint. They were not invited and they are not welcome. The only English they need to know is England means Land of the English.

In which country can you vote if you aren't a citizen?

(incidentally, EU citizens have the right to vote in local and European elections)

Actually, it's easier here.

Whether it's worth claiming is another question.

There are many anti-english people in the UK. Just talk to some other ethnic groups in the UK...

What about anti-polish people in Poland? There's a bunch that post on PF.

That's because the UK is made up of several different nations. A bit of inter-community strife is to be expected in such a system.

Like yourself and other "defenders", I suppose.

Do you honestly think that if someone was "anti-Polish", they would stay here?

MediaWatch has a tin foil hat going spare, I hear...
