Are Polish Girls scared of English Guys

and next day You wake up feeling disappointed because it was a dream:(

well that may sound a dream to you when u r sitting in poland or spain but in stockholm its reality, may be you would like to try it.

By the way I can say same for spanish girls too. I saw all spanish and eastern european girls a little too desperate here.......... Dont know if therez something wrong with guys there?

I was with a Polish lady for 13 years, well on and off, long story, was she scared of me, not a chance, the most feisty, hard headed, strong willed person I have ever met.

Best thing was the 2 children we had.

When it was good it was good, but when it was bad, boy was it bad.

I like Polish girls, but seems I like Bulgarian girls as well, who really share a similar mentality.

If I was asked how my relationship could be have been improved with this English/Polish relationship I would have to say, For Gods sake, please ban Pre-menstrual tension :)

I would say that some Polish women are scared of English guys while others want only to be with English guys and not Poles. Anyone would be scared of drink until you are a zombie English guys, that would be like going from the frying pan into the fire because Polish men drink a lot anyway and are proud of it!!!!!! :-(

If you watch Londyńczycy there is a funny episode where a Polish guy pretends to be English so he can impress a Polish girl and of course she goes psycho when she finds out. This is TV though, a different planet!

In my experience Polish girls like me and are not scared. I'm an English guy who doesnt have loads of money but i try and speak Polish so they love me.

Most Polish girls i meet can speak English really well, they are just too modest. In another 5 years I should be able to match their level of English with my level of Polish.

I've known the latest one for 8 months, and she won't even speak to me now, scared of me, who knows. Damn unreasonably, they can be sometimes

I read what they write about greek men in polish and you can get a picture of the thinking.Actually they regard us worse than Arabs!And very strange.

I don't think opinion about English is far remote.Anyway look at this.They come to UK,see the english girls and the whole lot of choices you have and they ask themselves:Is it possible to trust him?Why not find sb who has been just with camel till now?

It's very hurtful that you think it's the money that attracts us to Brits. I earn my own money, have a very respectable job and don't need to rely on anybody's earnings. Most (respectable) Polish girls that I know are in the same situation.

The most difficult thing is the language barrier and a little stupid opinion repeated to us day by day by our parents and grandparents that a healthy, Catholic, Polish boy is what we want. Even if he's an alcoholic, a slob and a sexist pig he's still better than an English or any other guy, for that matter, because he's not unfamiliar.

Poland is still waaay behind Britain in multiculturalism and tolerance so don't expect them to be very open and don't blame them for it but you can find very open and tolerant individuals, believe me.

The only advice I can give is to be patient and show that your intentions are good. A respectable girl does not want a one night stand with anybody and will not react to rude propositions. You wouldn't like to go out with a slag anyway, would you? If you're only looking for sex, go to a brothel.

Polish girls are not easy to impress but they will love you and take care of you like nobody else.

Work it out - assuming you want 2 kids (not unreasonable) that makes you about 50 when they leave school and about 60 when the second one becomes truly independent. And you deprive your grandkids of grandparents - still, I suppose that comes from your own deep-seated hatred of your own grandparents, doesn't it?

I have to say they are the most beautiful women I have ever seen. Very respectful, great conversationalists and generally nice, I was told that they are not used to being smiled at and when you do smile at them they are taken a back by it. I'm going to have to marry a Polish girl I think...

Personally I am surprised at how many Polish girls do decide to be with a British guy. I tihnk some of them do it just to show off, they have a inferiority complex and want to show friends and relatives that they have 'moved up' in the world, since this country is rich, whatever way you look at it. There might be problems financially like in Europe and generally, the world, but it is still an easier place to live than Poland. I think there is a big cultural difference. I do not know how a girl who has lived in Poland most of her life, then moves here, can accept not speaking in Polish at home and to her children, as many girls, and guys, do. It is strange. I am pretty sure I want to a girl that is Polish as I want to speak in Polish in our house. Hey a Polish girl can make her own decisions and she can marry who she wants but it does not stop me struggling to understand it. I know and have heard of many Polish girls who married a non Polish man and later realised how different their cultures were.

Well that explains the Catholic daughter of minor nobility going out with me back when I was a penniless agnostic student then. Thanks for clearing that up, she was with me to look good in front of her highly educated middle class business owning family.... :)
