Interracial relationships are common. Like any relationships, some work, and some don't. The couple in the linked article appeared happy (he was Polish incidentally). It was a tragedy that their lives wer cut short. I wish you luck in your search.

I'm taking some knocks here for asking a simple question but, unfortunately, Poles have a reputation for being less politically correct than Western Europeans.

They are percieved as being about 25 years behind. Throwing banana's at black footballers. Black face paint and curly wigs for easy laughs.

God sometimes you are such a liar. You KNOW that in Poland mixed race relationships are not accepted. Stop trying to pretend every culture is the same and it doesn't matter where you are from.

Not entirely true.. Yes it is a fact that mixed race relationships are not as prevalent in Poland as in other "western" European countries but there are more and more of those relationships now. I personally know at least 3 Polish families very well who have family members in 'mixed-race' relationships and they have totally accepted "outsiders" .. Some of the family members had some concerns in the beginning but as time went by, they accepted the relationship.

BS. I've got 1 male and 2 female friends married to black. Poles mix with coloured more often than people from the countries they've been living in for generations, so shut the hell up with this sh*t.

It is is harder when it comes to mixed relationship for it to work. But if you have love a strong well to be with each other why not. In other hand, I can't really say because I don't know the extend of your relationship. Good luck.
