To make someone blush - how to express it in Polish?

Hi! How would a native Polish speaker translate the expression to make someone blush; to make someone go red, with the sense of embarrassing someone? Is the expression something like sprawić kogoś, źe się rumienić? Please correct the following sentence:

Yesterday my boyfriend's audacious comment made me blush = Wczoraj śmiała uwaga mojego chłopaka sprawiła, że się zarumieniłam

That's basically OK. I would most probably use "...że się zaczerwieniłam", but there's no any significant difference. The verb "rumienić się" is also used in culinary contexts, while "czerwienić się" is not.

I don't like "śmiała" for "uwaga" in this sentence of yours. I don't know why as the adjective is formally OK in this context, but I wouldn't say it this way. Probably I would use "odważna odwaga" instead.

These are synonyms: : spiec raka, spłonąć rumieńcem, zaczerwienić się, zarumienić się (po uszy)

W odpowiedzi na jego zuchwały komentarz Zosia spiekła raka. But watch this: Zosia spiekła się na raka na plaży.
