Travel / Which Poland's city is LGBT friendly? [43]

BTW: Is there any cities in Poland that are zoophile friendly? The pride parade with beloved dogs, sheeps and goats would be so picturesque ...

Unfortunately, pride parade of necrofiles is a thing that is hardly possible...

Life / Why are Poles in other countries called "Plastic Poles"? [168]

So many posts, so many versions...

In Russia, term 'Plastic Pole' is understood by many people as a foreign citizen of polish origin that have no links to Poland other than plastic of "Karta Polaka". ;) And for countries that are not eligible for this document - just someone of polish origin who do not share any real interests with Poles living in Poland.

History / Why is Poland such an American boot licker? [60]

Turns out there are 10 cellphone manufacturers in Russia so plenty of choice.

Choice is very rich, of course. And people who never looked on anything lesser than Apple and Samsung recently found that those strange "Honor" smartphones that is everywhere, is actually Huawei products (nobody reads fine print on a price tag), and very nice for the price. ;)

I bought Huawei Honor 7c once Trump administration started to "pressure" Huawei. Just to support chinese brothers little bit. ;)

I see the topic of Poland sucking Am d... is so dear to your heart

To be honest, I don't like the idea that in response to a possible attack, the decision about which was made overseas, Russia will have to nuke the Slavic land for their own survival. But the "nowa szlachta" seems to consider this option acceptable.

The change was handled atrociously

So, maybe you will understand why:

- After a death of Egor Gaidar (de-facto author of "shock therapy" plan) the most popular example of poetry was 'Epitah On The Politician' by Hilaire Belloc

Here richly, with ridiculous display,
The Politician's corpse was laid away.
While all of his acquaintance sneered and slanged
I wept: for I had longed to see him hanged.

- Once online news sites reported about first attempt to put plate "Nemtsov Bridge" on a Bolshoi Moskvoretsky Bridge by opposition activists, first comments suggested to Moscow authorities to prepare convenient places for memorial plates on all Moscow bridges, including pedestrian ones in parks.

Planned economies don't work and the standard of living is generally very low.

I used to live in one of (more or less) planned economy. So, can compare condition "everyone have money but no goods in everyday shops except basic food and necessities" with "40 brands of sausages but not enough money even to buy cheapest one" of beginning of 1990's.

And while comparing living standard of USSR/DDR to western counterparts, do not forget, that socialist countries was under numerous embargoes and sanctions all the time. COCOM limitations, Jackson-Vanik amendment - just the examples. And about Jackson-Vanik amendment - it stay active many years after emigration of jews was made free. So, it was not due to jews right to emigrate, it was just one more way to cause some economical harm. And it was cancelled just to enact Magnitsky act...

And, just as Magnitsky is remembered. Local criminal authorities opened new case against William Browder. Their russian partners, Gasanov, Kurochkin, Magnitsky and Korobeinikov, died due to very similar disease, that include myocardial atrophy. Samples of all four contained similar aluminium-organic toxic compound, that now known to cause degeneration of kidneys and myocard. Probably Alexander Perepelichny, that died in 2012 in London, had the same cause of death.

so no...conscription doesn't mean patriotism at all!

But skills and knowledge that got during service can be used later, once there is a good cause...

No country in Europe is socialist!

Sweden and Norway is quite socialist. And a bit marasmatic...

I would advise you to look a bit more more closely at the sanity if the Russian elites...

If you include "liberal opposition" to a list of "elite", then yes, common sense alarm bells regularily. Just like with Polish elite, who seems have more important tasks than prosperity of polish citizens.

History / Why is Poland such an American boot licker? [60]

Mr. Vladimir Vladimirovitch Putin would seriously like to threaten Germany or France.

And what reason can Putin have in order to threaten Germany or France? I can understand a little bit the fears of Poland or the "Baltic tigers" who sell Russophobia wholesale and retail, and provide their territories in nearest vicinity of Russian borders for the troops and weapons of third countries. But Germany and France have rather sane political elites ...

I mean normally nations have self respect.

Poland (political elite) is somewhat special in this context. Overestimates its importance in the outside world and the constant clashes with hardcore reality, which constantly reminds of such a mistake, creates quite bizarre psychological complexes.

It is necessary to separate ordinary people, mostly completely sane and normal (perhaps too easily subject to propaganda), and the Polish "elite", which is deeply deprived of almost everything that they consider their primordial rights, and do not know what to do, who to suck, where to lick to become something distinguishable from dirt. Traditionally, they sucked a British dick, but now Britain is too weak to be interesting, so the United States of AIPAC have an advantage.

News / Trump will hold Poland up as an example for other nations to follow [106]

they aren`t dead in their souls, yet.

We have a lot of jokes here about national anthems, that starting from something like "we are not dead, yet"... ;)

It's like you are coming to a bank, to apply for a a large credit, and start talking from words "I'm not dead... yet"... ;)

News / Poland and Kresy being reunited? [162]

And back to topic: Silesia is Polish, because Poles live there.

So, Akcija "Wisla" converted Polish Kresy Wschodnie into Ukrainian Western Ukraine. Why similar deportation of polish population from Silezia cannot make it German land again?

Infiltration of Albanians into Serbian motherland (Kosovo) suddenly make it independent sh*thole, gravitating to Albania. Nearly the same story, of course.

Luckily, we still have 18 letters for not-yet mainstreamed perversions.

And 10 digits, if that 18 letters will be not enough. ;)

History / Why is Poland weaker than Russia? [390]

I would like to see what US would look like, if they had to rebuild 3/4 from scratch every century after a massive military invasion to their territory.

History / Why is Poland weaker than Russia? [390]

I would love to see a free, democratic Russia embraced as a friend by The West.

Milo, Rusians also like the idea, but experiece of 1980-s - 1990-s prove that current western elites does not need Russia as partner. They (as a maximum) want to "neutralise" souvereinity, destroy industry that may be a competitor for their own, and start siphoning natural resources. As a minimum - to keep Russia in a stagnating state, barely able to keep living standard of 3-rd world to their population, and pick talented scientists and engineers, moving them to new jobs to the US/EU.

Many things was done in 1990-s, while "efficient managers" make factories of strategic importance bankrupts and sold machines as a scrap, making lofts or large shop malls out of buildings. They told us that "we can effectively provide natural resources, we will buy the rest from those who already can efficiently manufacture finished goods", and "we cannot afford to subsidize that factories, that working mostly for space program and weapons manufacture".

It is taken more than a decade to restore most essential facilities, but competence in many areas is not yet restored. And we very "thankful" to that "democratic leaders" and "efficient managers with experience in western style management" for this. Here is a lot of people who want to friendly embrace the neck of that "effective managers" and keep it tightly embraced long enough to assure that we will never see them or their "students" in the power again.

My best 73 to you...

History / Why is Poland weaker than Russia? [390]

Have you visited Crimea in person last year or so? Or have read some sort of fake news?

Russia have some stagnation due to imposed sanctions, but there is many good things done since then. Even if Russia will declare all their counter-sanctions null and void and open their market for EU agricultural production again, you will be surprised how much "niches" is now totally occupied by a local producers.

Full domestic replacement of industrial products once purchased from Ukrainian manufacturers - another thing that is almost complete. It taken a lot of time and money, but now ukis can blackmail itself.

Currently, work started on domestic replacement of US-made composites used for aviation and falling under US imposed sanctions once Russia attempted to sell planes to Iran. Year or so, and US companies will lose this market completely, and State Department will lose one more way to harm Russia. I hope Russian government will also impose some limitations on supply of large titanium blanks to Boeing by AVISMA - let's see how it will be reflected in Boeing shares market value.

As you say Jon, Russia and Belarus are like the poorest of African nations, but in Europe.

It is ridiculous to watch how three of them who have never been in Russia masturbate, looking at each other's messages, trying to write something as despicable as possible about the impoverished and deteriorating Russia. A few pages earlier, the same persons written how dangerous and powerful Russia is, and how NATO protection is indispensable. ;)

We recently discussed this on a local forum, and decided that Great Józef Piłsudski was absolutely correct in one of their not-so-popular sayings...

Strong and getting stronger. Unlike Russia

Then why so much cries and apparent anal suffering, with attempts to give away USD 1 Bn to Trump just to put US military base on Polish land, and later to fund its existence?

Most logical way is to silently sit (under protection of Article 5), and wait - while Poland will become stronger and stronger, and Russia - weaker and weaker. For free, absolutely.

Only its people - the main Polish exports.

Lithuania/Latvia is in the same position. 2 in 1 - exporting workers to demanding western markets and freeing eastern lands for new owners.

Seems legal, and quite similar to Bush-Clinton-Bush sequence that is not questioned.

Unfortunately, Israeli's american colony is not a ally of Russia anymore.

And with a limited defense budget, Russia cannot afford all those gayish toys, like separate mobile toilets for all three sexes on the edge of each battlefield.

How dare you ask such questions!

Russians are lost most of their sense of fear. If someone will dare to ask to choose between horrible end and endless horror - answer will be "horrible end". ;) For both, if necessary, but preferably for those who ask.... ;)

Nobody will spend part of their life to teach those, who prefer to learn hard way, repeating same mistakes once and once again.

Everyone have their very personal way to hell.
