You can contact Thai embassy in Poland, they are responsible for handling visas for 60 days for Polish citizens. In Thailand you can only get a visa for 15 days and you need to show a ticket for your departure, so there might be a problem (even though its possible to extend a visa in Thailand so I'm not sure how it really works). The best way is to apply for a visa in Poland.

Usually people ask where it is, or is it in Europe. One guy was trying to convince my sister that Poland is not in Europe cause we don't have euro and that Poland was once part of Yugoslavia O_O

Sometimes people ask if they can come to Poland by car because they think that we don't have roads.. When I was in Asia, one guy when he heard I'm from Poland said that we must have a lot of polar bears..I thought he was joking ;)

Many times when I say I'm from Poland, people say "Aaa, Holland", so now I know I shoul spell it very clearly like 'Poouland" ;)
