Yes, there is a real question, why EU accepts countries which are an obvious economic burden if not for a strategic military considerations? And how expendible will be these countries in a case of a full scale war?

yes, but, i don`t know. Isn`t all sh**. NATO isn`t for Poland on the first place. Poland should go out of it and declare its military neutrality.

In any case Europe sinking in direction of open military conflict on the continental scale. Look what Hungary doing. They calculated and concluded how atmosphere in Europe becoming too hot due to USA interfering and they tries to distance themselves from such aggressive policy. Hungary even tries to distance from Germany, too. Honestly, like that Hungarians sensing global conflict and tries to survive. If that`s the case, seams that those who warned them, didn`t warn Poland. Or maybe Poland got warning but simple can`t escape or some politicians preventing Poland to follow example of Hungary. i begins to worry for Poland, seriously.

As European, as a Slavic man, i now feel much safer knowing that is in Poland elected patriotic president such is Andrzej Duda. Strong Poland and her balanced politics would for sure act as stabilizing factor on European political scene, on the contrary to aggressive politics promoted by western European powers led by USA.

Harry, its even officially, in international court, concluded that Serbia didn`t commit any sort of genocide. On the other side amnesty international concluded that NATO committed crimes on Serbs, on Serbia.

It would be very appropriate to be mentioned in this thread that EU and NATO as instruments of USA and western European interests committed many crimes in the world using their mass media propaganda machinery to justify their military interventions and molesting countries with economic sanctions and trade embargo. EU and NATO are two criminal organizations that already attacking Polish interests. Its just the matter of time when they more openly act against Poland.

Harry, Serbians were demonized in mass media because they opposed to dictate of EU and NATO leading countries. Are you aware that EU and NATO committed genocide on Serbs? Rather like suggesting that Poles should throw away their history and existence to become part of the Russian Empire.

i would remind you weege, that we here don`t talk about Russian plot against Poland but, of western European and USA plot against Poland. i mean, we all know who rule the world. Weege? Ask yourself man. Who have more then 60% of world`s scientific output? USA, west of Europe and Canada.

So, weege, what Russian Empire? No, no, Russians just tries to cope. One day alright, when China consolidate, India start more to contribure, when world becomes fully multi-polar, there would be 30% of scientific output in USA, west of Europe and Canada and they won`t lead things. Some others would. Now we live in era when ruling world powers tries to keep their control, while some other powers wants to survive as powers.

Then, after all, where is Poland? Poland is part of EU and NATO. Imagine weege that Poland tries to abandon EU and NATO. For sure, when think of it one realize how that even isn`t possible. Poland simple wouldn`t survive if tries to separate from EU/NATO and would be destroyed in the process, facing one more partition in its history, with some territories wants to stay part of Poland and some would rather secede from Poland and stay within EU. That strongly at this moment Poland depend from EU and NATO. Russia? How can Russia harm Poland, without provoking global nuclear war? It can`t. So see, others control path of Poland. We know who. We here speak of it.

Play on historical moment and drag Poland in EU was setting of great trap for Poland. No way for Poland to go normally out of EU. Meaning, Poland is there to listen and follow, not to complaint. Poland is extremely vulnerable on any western European and USA political pressure.

Yes, there is. i shall prove it.

My intention here is that rising this thread give my contribution to defense of Poland. That is why i underlined that this is about personal opinions, while i made this thread public on the Net. Why is necessary that thread goes public? See, there is nothing what one individual can do for Poland (or for anything) if things in defense of Poland aren`t said public. All things publicly said became important category- an element, word, a weapon.

Its because i believe that Poland don`t need to fall down in silence. On the other side, one may say how i am clown, how i mistaking in my delusion, that there is no any kind of western European and USA plot against Poland, that is all perfect in case with relations of Poland and leading EU powers and USA. i say, alright then. Let, whoever wants that, say that i am deluded. Let they call me a clown. Alright but, in my eventual delusion, i believe that i risking to be a clown for the good of Poland. Then again, one may say that is a road to hell marked with the good intentions. That is also great truth. Still, i would here speak in defense of Poland because in my opinion there is quite enough evidences that support this stance of mine- that is defense of Poland and Poles necessary from Poland`s so called `fiends`, that there is western European and USA plot against Poland, to put Her down, so that She kneel, that others rule Her.

Then also, considering that i am Serbian, nobody can`t say how is this thread initiated by some passionate Polish nationalist. It isn`t. i only have my love for Poland and my loyalty to Poles. Only that.

When west of Europe or USA wants to prepare ground for meddling in internal affairs of some countries, mass media there starts to label countries as `non-democratic`, as `sponsors for terrorists`, `nationalistic`, or as `dictatorship`.

So, in case with Poland, it started. Just after elections in Poland are over and when is pro-Polish policy on the way, by newly elected Polish president Andrzej Duda. This is, how to say, already seen pattern of behavior of mass media in EU and NATO leading countries, when they get signal or simple `sensing` that some country abandoning path of blind loyalty.

here it is:

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic sent on Monday a letter of congratulations to Andrzej Duda "voicing confidence that cooperation between the two countries will be improved in all fields of mutual interest."

"On the occasion of your appointment to the position of President of the Republic of Poland, I send you my most sincere congratulations and the best wishes for a successful performance of that responsible duty," Vucic said in the letter.

"I am deeply convinced that, with your personal contribution, the close friendly relations and a good bilateral cooperation between Serbia and Poland will be improved in all areas of common interest" (...)

we have actually very interesting situation, new to historical relations between Poland and Serbia. We shall see Duda`s game. i have impression that till now (in last 10 years) official Poland expect that official Serbia blindly follow Poland, while Serbians expect elementary solidarity by official Poland. So far, official Serbia followed very little, while official Poland gave little of solidarity. Poland seams to be oriented solely on one interest circles within west of Europe and USA, while Serbia giving its best to be open for good business and political relations with all major players of the world.

Since the existence of the written historical data, since middle age, relationship of Poland and Serbia was sincere partnership, solidarity and understanding.

I doubt he will see the Serbs as they are too far up Russians backside.

If anybody in Europe, Serbs are independent.

Only time when Serbians entered in open military confrontation with Russians was when they sided with Poles. So, Russia learned to tolerate good Polish-Serbian relations and our specific interests.

But, Serbians never sided with non-Slavs against Russians. Actually, there are no historical records about any Serbian alliance with non-Slavs against other Slavs, no matter mutual Slavic misunderstandings.

In any case, its glad to me that Serbian President and PM congratulate to new Polish president, in hope in even better relations between our two Slavic and European countries

The reality, gregy, is that in 2005 Poland got some six billion zloty more from the EU than it contributed.

The reality is that west of Europe just repay its historical debt to Poles. See, its not giving. Its pay back what was stolen from Poland. Its actually nothing. Much more have to be paid.

if we presume, hypothetically, that Poland now abandoning EU, minimal loses in territory would be regions with strong German minority. Then, even many Polish ethnic regions would rebel against Warsaw.

see example of latest immigration quotas,we will be forced in the future to become multiculti,whenever we want it or not.and that's just one example

multicultural isn`t problem. problem is because that is all by the so called western standards. So that they keep controlling the things.

In Poland, everything is paid by the EU (= taxpayers from German, France, UK (as per %),, then the Netherlands, Italy...) and should the Polish government say something against the EU, funds shall be cut...

Not necessarily my friend. Not necessarily. Look at Greece. EU need them for strategic reasons so Greeks practically rape EU vaults. EU knows very well that Greece may instantly abandon NATO pact and EU. Yes, Greeks are that crazy. What we don`t know is how much are Poles crazy. For sure not that much. But, i do see how Poles rapidly loosing their nerves (not that they are famous for nerves anyway). This elections proofs it.

Poland is too weak to rule the place...

not that weak. Rather confused. Poland follow USA and at the same time tries to follow Britain. Game is good for Anglos but, Poles feel like Ping Pong Balls. There is also Germany. Anglos and Germanics play well but, game only increase level of Ping Pong feeling in Poles. Then, Poland tries to balance its politics with Slavs (and Hungary) on Baltic-Balkan line but fails. Nobody can`t follow Poland`s steps. i don`t know, maybe Duda can help, give some direction to Polish politics. Its like Eurovison. Play your game, give voice to your gamers but, not obviously. He, Britain is good example.

Free advice to Duda

Poland should start slowly but surely to follow Hungarian politics, if wants to avoid possibility for another partition, in what would Her partners from the west of Europe, push Poland. Vatican would offer only understanding for Polish tears.

To be clear here, i don`t point on partition of Poland by west of Europe from one side and, Russia from another. No. This time disintegration of Poland may come from inside (while encouraged from the west of Europe), with parts of country attached to the west of Europe, while would other parts tend to play independent policy coordinating with moves of countries on the Danubian Baltic-Balkan line.

However, as to EU is concerned, considering its financial dependence (hundreds of billions of euros given to Poland (no.1 recipient although paying peanuts to the EU budget), Poland shall continue to bend its back to Brussels - Poland has not the means to be arrogant. As they say in America "beggars are no choosers" and as they say in France "the soup tastes too good"....

As for pro-Russian stance. Why `pro-Russian stance`? Russians are geographically close to Hungary and Serbia. Even if we disregard any other reasons, let us take in consideration that Russians themselves wants to live and prosper. So they offering business. Now, if we ignore their intention to do business, we actually endangering their existence. That we don`t wish and so, Hungary and Serbia doing business with Russians. At the same time we call other players to do business, too. But, those other players, such as USA, don`t wish to do business if we don`t accept to isolate Russians. All that in situation when major world`s money flow shifted Eastern and when China coming with her own business and interests. For sure, Hungary and Serbia have to be reasonable.

Duda should beware of USA path. Its path of desperate one who sense that losing control over the world. Why would Poland accept to serve as battering ram? USA path is altogether with path of western Europe, path of direct collision with China and Russia. Path by their own choice

In a Europe that go backwards on time to medieval ages, Poland (Together with Serbia, Romania and few others) will be the only european countries that still will conserve our modern civilization.

i am not sure about Romania considering development. They stubbed Serbs in the back (in past 20 years) when we didn`t expect. On the other side, they also giving positive signals in last 5 years. We shall see.

Hungary is greatest surprise. Hungarians managed to deflect from German ways and to improve their relations with Serbs (i speak of Serbia and Serbs not only because i am Serbian, but because of fact that Serbians do represent point of balance and reflection of general regional interests). If one knows history, one understand that Hungary achieved its best highs in history and even golden age when was allied to Serbs.

Speaking of regional development, what is sad but not surprising, Croatia plays more pro-German policy then Austria.

In any case, countries (with few exceptions) on the Baltic-Balkan line tries to gravitate to each others due to common interest (as Pilsudski predicted). That is the chance for Poland to found natural partners and allies, when the moment come. At this moment, Poland must play careful (even confusing) politics. i understand that. So, with time, with her position consolidated in the region, with actual mega trends on the west of Europe, as you described, Poland have all chances to emerge as leading European power.

Genealogy / Slavs are descendants of Sarmatians? [600]

Sarmatian name was universal name of all Slavs back in past, before name of Slavjani spread. In fact, name of Sarmats is still alive ethnic name as linguistic science confirms. It lives in the name of Serbians and Sorbs. Those are noting but local forms of Sarmatian name.

What is also interesting is that old scholars spoke of Sarmatian-Thrachian connection, as it is one and same people. So, there are historical data of Eastern Roman scholar Duca who spoke of Serbians as of Thracians. When wrote about Serbs he used name of Tribali to designate them and spoke of Serbians as of greatest Thracian tribe.

Not to say that medieval Serbian state had in use two parallel names- Serbia and Rascia (Rashka). See, word Thracia is foreign form of native Rascia/Rashka (Th-racia). It is also confirmed by linguistic science and goes hand in hand with historical reality on terrain. Mediaval Hungarians used to call Serbians, Raci. For Poles Serbs were Racowie. So, ethnic names (in Serb.) Srbi and Rasani (Serbians/Sarmatains and Rashani/Racowie/Thracians) always went together.

Slavs are Sarmatians. No dilemma, Slavs are Thracians, too. We here speak of one and same people. Just, names of Sarmatians and Thracians used scholars to designate Slavs of antiquity. Since early middle age its name of Slavjani.

Have in mind that main flow of wealth in the world definitely switched more to the East. In the future would be even more concentrated in Asia around China and Japan, then in future in India, too. At this moment, west of Europe and USA managed to slow down Russian economy but, considering Asian strategic reasons to support Russia, it is clear that would Russia consolidate on those new winds (and more efficient use of its own resources). So, Russia continuing to rise contributing even more to the switch of the main world`s wealth flow more to the East, away from west of Europe and USA.

Then, there are other centers in the world that consolidates, redistributing world`s wealth flows, such is Brazil, South Africa and some rich Arab countries. This world goes multi-polar, on the contrary to idea of uni-polar world that USA tried to protect, for its selfish interests.

In this old new world, Poland have its own place as the natural leading country of the Eastern Europe. New perspectives demand new politicians. Looks to me that is Ogorek definitely politician who have `out of the box` thinking. Exactly what Poland needs.

How a memmber of the Communist Party (SLD), that enslaved, butchered and Slaughtered the Polish Population for 60 Years, can be a NEW hope?

History / Chance of Lwów once again became coming part of Poland [344]

Chances? Minor, i would say. It would be historical justice that is Lwow part of Poland but, chances are truly minor now. Poland`s politics failed.

Poland greatly mistaken for blindly followed official EU politics. It was mistake to follow stance of non-Slavic western Europeans and regarded Ukraine as consolidated country, with its natural and real borders. This stance strategically suited western Europeans because Ukraine, with its borders in time of maiden, reduced chances that Russia and Russians correct historical injustice and pledge to change borders of Ukraine.

It is honest to say that Ukrainian nation deserve to have its national Ukrainian state but, its also honest to admit that many territories of Ukraine with borders in time of maiden, were not realm that belong to Ukrainian nation. So, if one wanted to have national and independent Ukrainian state, one needed to count on negotiations about Ukrainian borders with Russia and Poland, at least.

But, as we know, official Poland ignored historical justice, ignored honesty to interests of some others and even to the interests of Poland and Poles.

Anyway, as epilogue, we would have situation that Poles suffered historical injustice, that is historical justice of Russians just partly satisfied and that young Ukrainian nation got more then what historically belong to her. And all that thanks to western Europe and USA, while would on the other side, Ukraine, on the long run, antagonize its relations with Russia and Poland. Furthermore, that situation would suits to those elements in Ukraine (anti-Slavic extremists) who would (due to gratitude and pure interests), hold Ukraine eternally close to the western Europeans, more and more weakening Slavic spirit of Ukrainians and maybe even germanizing them with time.

So, at one moment Poland helped to western Europe to consolidate its influence in the region, to harm Russians, sacrificing at the same time its own interests and accepting historical injustice on Poles, while on the long run, also, helped weakening of Slavic spirit in Ukraine. On the other side, that same western Europe became guarantor of the new (future) borders of Ukraine what also means that is historical injustice on Poles cemented.

This is my friends how western Europeans deal with Slavs. Here, as many times before, Poland (Polish ruling establishment) was totally manipulated by its partners from the west of Europe, in turn manipulating with Poles for the sake of foreign interests.
