In 1907, Francis W. Bushong, a chemistry professor at the University of Kansas, reported a novel finding in the journal Chemical and Physical Papers.
He'd found methane, the main ingredient in natural gas, in a tree.
Years earlier, he wrote, he'd cut down some cottonwood trees and "observed the formation of bubbles in the sap upon the freshly cut trunk, stump and chips."
When he struck a match, the gas ignited in a blue flame.
At the university, he replicated the flame test on a campus cottonwood and this time captured gas samples.
The concentration of methane was not much below the level measured in samples from Kansas's natural gas fields.

How can one country compete with another when one refuses to play fair.
Then the big wigs get on their gas guzzling leer jets to fly to their multi million dollar yachts that burn 100 gallons of fuel per hour.
And then they me to turn my heat down to 62*........oh, o.k., I will get right on it.

As long as the rich have exhausted all avenues legally then you tell me why they shouldn't use what is at their disposal ?
This is why they are rich is because they know how to manage money which is totally lacking with Socialists.
The rich are very sweet by paying the largest amount of the tax base.
This is why Socialism doesn't work is because it depletes the rich so there no longer are any rich to keep things running.
There is NOTHING free as in free education, free healthcare, free this and that.......SOMEONE HAS TO PAY for all that Free Stuff jon.
Socialism only makes income equality by making everyone poorer.
Eventually the money runs out to pay for all that free stuff and the economy collapses.

Sad, so very sad for the Polish migrants who established this town in Michigan only to have it taken over by the Muslims.
When the Polish came here they had no government grants to start a business nor any welfare to support their family like the Muslims are "blessed with" AND the Polish people (unlike the Muslims that still wear their black garbage bags and have no desire to become Americans) acclimated on their free will to learn English and American traditions.
What a difference a couple of generations make.
In my day as a kid (50's and 60's) Hamtramck was known for top quality Polish restaurants and Polish butcher shops that produced the best Polish sausages anywhere.
Hamtramck's transformation in recent decades is well documented and obvious. (Marxism at work)
Storefronts now display signs in Arabic or Bengali.
A main road was given an honorary name, "Bangladesh Avenue."
And after the 2015 election, Hamtramck's City Council became the country's first with a Muslim majority, a milestone that drew unwanted media attention and critical social media posts from ex-residents who left decades ago in disgust.
So sad, so very sad to see the hard working Polish and their culture be run out of a town they worked so very hard to establish.

They get so stoned they can't find their back pockets and then jump in their car to drive to the store for some munchies.
Hopefully Poland will never legalize it so the kids will at least have a chance to function normally in society.
