after chatting to someone today i got the impression that Polish companies don't do enough when it comes to dealing with clients in other countries.
i'd like to know some of the dos and don'ts when it comes to dealing with, for example, Asian, American, European clients.
also, when doing business over the internet what should be considered when sending e-mail or speaking via a webcam.
in other words how does one get things done without causing offence.

The majority of the film is set in the death camp at Auschwitz during the Holocaust and details how Nazi SS guards forced Jewish boxer Salamo Arouch to fight other internees to the death for their entertainment. Prior to Triumph of the Spirit, no major feature film had ever been shot on location at Auschwitz.
i saw this film when it was first released and the story is not forgotten easily.
i wonder if any Polish members of the forum have seen it ... and how does it fit in with hollywoods version of the past and actual facts

Life / Anyone else suffering from mosquito bites in Poland? [52]
I noticed a week ago that there were far more mosquitoes flying around than is usual for the time of year.
The government is about to spray the country with insecticide and it's all because of the flood and the stagnant pools of water that were formed.
When there was last a plague of mozzies, in Warsaw, many people were hospitalized.
The question is: Have you noticed these little pests and what is your answer to them ?

You were polite, but not sincere... she picked up on it... told your son... and then he took her side.
i could be completely wrong of course.
I was careful to say good things about the house and her decorating. She painted some pictures and I told her they were good enough to be in shops. I made a point of never, ever, saying, you should do this or that.

The flood situation took a horrific turn for the worst yesterday.
When i found out that the Fisz, Acid Drinkers, Closterkeller, Sabaton gig on Wyspa Slodowa was cancelled because of the flood.
The island is safe enough for every other activity, has not been closed, and the water level is going down.

Find an Apteka (chemist's/ drug store) for baby food. you might even find one that's open 24hrs

The river level seems to have gone down. At a guess by more than a metre.
There was something on TVN News about folks shooting beaver. I was listening to music and watching the telly so missed where it was. Daughter number 3 explained what was going on.
I'll check the facts later.
