Let take a minute to find out a lil about the man behind the mask, why do you HATE these people? hate is a strong word. I've heard from Russian that Poles hate them, but i've never heard them say they hate Poles.

I doubt that you know who Chernenko really was...

I know much about Russian history, of course i know who Konstantin Chernenko was, and Andropov and Ustinov.

The point is that American Poles is most illiterate and blindfolded species that exists on Earth.

I didn't get my knowledge of Russia from American school books, i'd probably know close to nothing if i did, i got it from being a history buff and reading in my free time.

I have Russian friends and like Russian people but you seam to me like a hypocritical nationalist who only posts bad things about others and will never admit to any Russian wrongdoings.

Life / Searching a 'street pharmacist' in Warsaw [12]

I prefer to roll a joint. But Poles almost always use them. I invite you one day to come and see.

a blunt isn't joint paper like some in Poland still think, its a cigar wrap and no one uses joint paper that's been out of style.

Law / America takes leading investor spot in Poland [51]

Geographically it is but other than that I fully agree with you. This is how I feel about many big cities in the states anyway.

Because the big cities have jobs and it's where outsiders (foreigners) come to influencing the city with the culture they bring, music, food, style.

Law / America takes leading investor spot in Poland [51]

Chicago is the most American of America's big cities.

Love that city New York also, can't say the same for Detroit a complete shithole. Can't call New York a truly American city since 1/3 of the residents were born outside the U.S and another third are 2nd generation in America.

it seems like every year, the number of restaurants/fast food joints in Poland double, most of them american owned. i taught at Google, Hewlitt Packard.....ate at Planet Sushi/KFC/Pizza Hut......drank Coca Cola/Pepsi/Red Bull/......even occasionally stopped for green tea at Startucks.......American business and American products in Poland are absolutely everywhere.

This month Procter and Gamble decided on expanding it's Warsaw (Targowek) Pampers factory (3rd largest in the world) at a cost of 100 million zloty ($35 m) this adds to to the already existing Procter and Gamble's Gillette razor factory in Lodz (largest in the world) and Olay cosmetics factory in Aleksandrow Lodzki.

Another 100 million zł American company Procter and Gamble to invest Targowek - informs " Business Pulse " .
Procter and Gamble to expand the plant , where in addition to the diapers will produce wipes Pampers baby care . Thus, by the end of September this year uprising there 20 new jobs. Further investments of American companies are expected in Aleksandrów where in the local SEZ is counting 9 ha area where the plant is already Olay cosmetics brand with an area of 15 thousand . m . sq .

Law / America takes leading investor spot in Poland [51]

Interesting I expected that number 1 would have been Germany, by quite a fair bit. The Brits are a welcome surprise.

Well official government facts don't lie, since last year America is the leading investor.

It get's even better:
Poland: Is the new Germany of EU?
:)

Far from it, maybe in economic growth, but actual numbers it's still got many years to go.

Law / America takes leading investor spot in Poland [51]

America is the leading foreign investor in Poland accounting for 30 percent of foreign investment. Germany/UK are tied for second place and South Korea in third. Currently, the Polish market has more than 750 companies with direct participation of American capital. It is estimated that they invested so far nearly $ 20 billion. They employ over 180 thousand people.

Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency estimates that the value of foreign capital inflow to Poland in 2011 will be from 10 to almost 11 billion euros. Slawomir Majman, president of the Agency stresses that this version of the optimistic predictions, because in the aftermath of the crisis conditions of acquisition of foreign capital is still very difficult.

Still does not have its normal supply. Makes itself felt very fierce competition between countries competing for investment and jobs. If you have not relied upon any unforeseen circumstances, the value of investments compared to last year probably will be higher by 10%. 30% of foreign investments in Poland belongs to the United States.

In second place is shared: the United Kingdom and Germany, and the third South Korea, which are interested in our country after several years of working całowicie passivity. Koreans now treat Poland as a gateway to develop contacts with the European Union.

News / Y Shaped high speed rail line Poland [78]

The ones which the know-nothing cretins think are ideal for Poland....

The line from Warsaw to Gdansk and from Warsaw to Krakow/Katowice is being modernized ***** and will be suitable for the new Pendolino trains. These are not the super fast trains for the Y shaped Warsaw-Lodz-Poznan/Wroclaw line which wont be built for years to come.

USA, Canada / Poles and American Poles. What do you think about those two groups and their interactions. [85]

American Polacks

Polish Americans not Polacks, that's a slur for all Poles u dummy.

It's nothing to do with jealousy (after all, real Poles are able to work anywhere in the EU and earn just as much money, if not more)

HAHA what a nimrod. EU since when? a few years, what about before it was just as hard if not harder getting to western European countries than the U.S, and Poles have been coming here in large numbers since the 1800s. Son pay is higher in the U.S than almost all EU nations, even if someone does make more how far does his money go? EVERYTHING (food, gasoline, housing) costs more in Europe, sometimes much more, so yes it is jealously.

Well, I have noticed that some on the list are Jews whose ancestor's come from Poland. Do they count themselves as Poles?

Well Jesse Eisenberg says he actually sees himself more as Polish than American, he speaks Polish well and is in Poland often. So it all depends on the individual.

USA, Canada / Expat Poles swearing allegiance to the US - how did you feel? [157]

Best friends?

My best friend has never made me pay $100 and submit to a humiliating interview just to be given a piece of paper that might allow me to visit him. My best friend has also never given me some weapons that were actually fake, too.

First you know nothing about America and second it wasn't a humiliating interview it was fun we laughed i didn't have to take the verbal since my English is flawless, it was easy. If you knew Polish history you'd know that it was Woodrow Wilson who pushed for Poland's independence after WWI, that is why city parks, metro stations and avenues in Poland bare his name, to the European powers they could care less about Poland being independent, your precious UK pushed for the Curzon line which gave half the country to Russia, later the French tried to steal the credit for winning the Polish-Bolshevik War 1920 because they sent a few advisors, some friends Poland has in Europe, pllz.

immigrants

That is the key word you should be looking at whether legal or illegal this country has a problem with immigrants and surely doesn't need any more of them.

Also, one of my teachers could have U.S. citizenship because of her husband but instead they're both living in Poland.

What I've just recently found out (i'll admit to it) I didn't know that America which doesn't have a specific ethnicity has a law similar to many European nations that if you've had a grandparent for instance who was born here you could get a greed card or citizenship and be allowed to come to America. My friend told me this is how he came here, his grandfather was born here therefore an American who went back to Poland and stayed there until the end of communism not knowing his children and grandchildren could do this.

In closing, America is NOT holding up a banner of freedom around the globe, instead they are trying to take over every country they can in their quest for a "new world order" and one currency

You got a problem with our dollar? Another person jealous that America rules this world, behave yourself be a good subject.

History / If Poland didn't exist, how did citizens become Polish? [57]

They either did take the new citizenship or they had to leave the new Poland.

Over a million did stay, many left in the 1980's and 1990's when it was possible i'm sure many would have stayed if it wasn't for the terrible economic conditions.
