Law / ACN direct selling telecom company in Poland [45]

People do earn money with MLM, this is a FACT not a personal opinion.

Can you provide us with statistics on the amount of people who leave ACN with a profit?

I still wonder why ACN allows people to "cold market" when attempting to recruit people into "working" as an ACN reseller, but why they also ban cold marketing of the ACN product? You'd think it would be the opposite way round....

ACN in America gives 90 days to quit if I'm not wrong, here in Italy 14 days and you have back the money directly on your bank account. Is it fault of ACN or fault of the person?

I'm asking you why the State of Montana said that almost every single person who had signed up with ACN had lost money. Answer the question.

Keep going though - you're doing a great job of showing us how ACN is all hype and very, very little substance.

USA, Canada / Dual citizenship - US doesn't care if you don't give up Polish passport [103]

Matter of fact I am waiting for Polish people to revolt against the state of Poland. It's coming.

Why would Polish people revolt against their own democratic country?

If they don't like it - it's easy enough to elect a party with a 2/3rds majority in the Sejm/Senat, as well as a President which will endorse the ending of the III RP and start a new Polish state.

PB is right, you don't have to give up your Polish citizenship to get an American one. You can have the best of both worlds.

You don't have to give it up, but you do have to pledge to attack Poland if required to do so.

Certainly, no Polish patriot would ever do such a thing.

Law / ACN direct selling telecom company in Poland [45]

Desperately? I have already seen a return of my 478,80€ you loser!

Sure you have.

You're not going to prove it though, are you? :)

Yes, this is true. Try to guess why...

Not hard to guess why - the commission structure is so heavily weighted against the "independent representative" that there's absolutely no way they're going to break even.

Tell me - why did the State of Montana say that almost every single person who had signed up to distribute ACN's product had lost money?

But hey - anyone reading can read this for themselves - fraudwatchers.org/forums/showthread.php?t=3036

Who is the next? I'm warming up now! Come in this thread people, come to sling mud on the company of which I'm a partner, I will sling back that same mud on you!

Keep going - nothing puts off people more than a brainwashed individual who is desperately trying to convince himself that he'll see a return on that $500 investment.

Tellus, Colossus - why did ACN's legal representative say, on video, to Fox -

the majority probably do not make a profit

Life / "Letter from Poland" - very important movie to watch [51]

Well then I'm sure you will produce a news website that has this video.

Contact the Polish investigators - they have it.

What is the primary source of this video?

Warsaw Airport's CCTV system, combined with eyewitness testimony from a BOR agent. Pretty authoritative, I'd say.

What was that you were claiming about me not long ago, about me being "duped" by the Polish media?? Are you sure you are not being duped by this media story?

The investigators have confirmed the presence of the CCTV tape - not much to "dupe" here.

Warszawski - in all seriousness, we'll probably never know all the details. We already know that certain things are very unlikely to be revealed (especially regarding the systematic failures within the PAF - and I suspect that the report will stay away from things such as Blasik's reliance on Kaczynski for his career) - the only real question is how much they'll blame Blasik and how much they'll blame the real crew.

Law / ACN direct selling telecom company in Poland [45]

As I said at the beginning I did come here to defend my L E G A L activity from the ignorants.

Legal? You might want to have a word with the Federal Court of Australia about it - austlii.edu.au/au/cases/cth/federal_ct/2005/276.html

In ACN you can earn by acquiring customers since you don't loose them until they remain ACN customers because we are paid from their bills.

Indeed - and furthermore, if they don't pay your bills, you get nothing.

Perhaps you might want to tell us why you aren't allowed to market your telefony product, but why you ARE allowed to convince people to sign up as an ACN rep?

I chose the third, you all?

Anyone who thinks wouldn't get involved with ACN or the like.

assaultofknowledge.wordpress.com/2009/05/17/fox-11-news-investigates-the-acn-scam

"they prey on the weak and desperate"...hmm

Even their own legal representative says that (as seen in the video) - "the majority probably do not make a profit".

ACN is about as big as a pyramid scheme as it gets.

Law / Healthcare for British Citizens living in Poland [30]

Is there actually the possibility of getting a refund? I thought all of the medicine in Poland was either subsidised or unsubsidised - but "free" medicine didn't exist.

Either way, I'd be wary about coming here with a pre-existing condition - while there's an EU right to access healthcare "abroad" - the system isn't too keen on it here.

Law / Healthcare for British Citizens living in Poland [30]

What would my position in Poland be, am I eligible for free prescriptions? I know this medication is very expensive.

You'll pay for it. It may be subsidised (certain medicines are) or it may not be - I don't know the specifics. Olaf is your man to ask on here - but if it's unsubsidised, it can be pretty expensive.

For what it's worth, you'll also be without healthcare unless you or your wife has paid ZUS (the equal of national insurance here).

Life / "Letter from Poland" - very important movie to watch [51]

And it now seems that our general and the pilot had a slight altercation at the airport before departing.

Slight altercation...well, he only ordered him into the cockpit :D

I know people refuse to accept the psychological analysis of Protasiuk - but "a nice guy" is totally the wrong person to be flying such a plane, especially under such psychological pressure.

It would seem that perhaps the theory that the second pilot was waiting for Blasik's approval after the "go around" statement could be right.

Certainly, I hope that Blasik's actions in the hours before the flight are documented thoroughly - was he still drunk from the night before, was he drinking before the flight, was he drinking on the plane?

UK, Ireland / Polish English marriage in England- advice please [21]

Nah, no problem. As long as the data all matches, it's no problem.

Bear in mind that the CNI is only valid for 3 months, though.

I only have my First and Family name, would this be a problem.

Nope, can't imagine it being a problem.

Are you getting a civil or church wedding?

Life / "Letter from Poland" - very important movie to watch [51]

General Błasik was one of the best in NATO.

He was actually a political appointee and was more or less reliant on Kaczynski for his command - hence the severe case of "get-it-there-itis". Best in NATO? At what, making idiotic decisions?

Media put into our heads that the pilot was drunk. He was the best pilot with many international awards.

No, the facts put it into our heads that he was a vulgar drunk with no sense of responsibility. What on earth was he doing ordering Protasiuk into that plane, and what was he doing in assuming command of the plane? There's plenty more where that comes from - Blasik was no hero.

There is NO evidence that a "drunken general seized command of the plane" or anyone else seized command of the plane.

Sorry MediaWatch, but there's video and eyewitness testimony, as well as the undeniable fact that Blasik reported to Kaczynski as the commander of the flight. Plenty of evidence - and this comes from the Poles, not from the Russians.

This is only a speculative notion that Russia has suggested, which you keep pushing.

Nothing to do with Russia. I don't see any evidence in the MAK report relating to Blasik's actions on the ground in Warsaw.

That's what I was pointing out at. Brits legally driving with 0.6 and more and Russian generals rarely going down to 0.6 ... All this has made Harry and Delphiandomine having sleepless nights as a result of poor Gen. Błasik's 0.6 pro mille level.

But the UK also judges 0.2 as being a criminal offence when flying a plane. Comparing apples and oranges is pointless - you can only compare apples with apples. And Blasik was drunk according to UK law, as well as Polish law.

The more I read, the more I feel sorry for the rest of the crew.

Is that true???? I haven't read much about this crash.....

What Blasik (the general in question) has been doing is starting to come out - and it's not pretty. It certainly looks like the story of him seizing command is true - and may hold the entire reason why the plane crashed.

Also, what's this I hear about the guy who filmed the plane just after it crashed? Something like there was gunfire heard on his video, and recently he died in suspicious circumstances?

Jonni puts it correctly.

Not worth even bothering with - the sole source of such information is a very unreliable website.

Law / America takes leading investor spot in Poland [51]

He got a job at McDonalds last week, he was forced to buy a handbook for 137 Zloty (his weekly wage).

I'm not surprised he failed to get a job in Holland if he was stupid enough to do that.

McDonalds is incredibly controlled throughout the world - the whole business is set up in exactly the same way in every country, and "paying for a handbook" - doesn't exist, sunshine.

It really is a remarkable measure of your stupidity that even Jonni and PennBoy are agreeing!

I think that the sudden death of generals, presidents and representatives of financial institutions is worthy of reflection and seriousness especially when someone says that it is boring or unimportant.

Does the film contain scenes of how a drunken general seized command of a plane?

Law / How can I get Polish citizenship after been married to a Polish spouse [75]

It's worth pointing out that if he hasn't been working for 3 years without a break in employment, they may use it as justification to refuse the application. I know that at least one African national was refused citizenship in Poznan on this basis.

But - instead of asking on here - why not talk to the office? The wonderful lady that works in the relevant office speaks English rather well.

Study / Swedish folks in Poland! (I want to apply for university and live in Poland) [21]

I love Poland but I'm also afraid of being forced to live under bad economic circumstances.

Sure, you'll earn less in Poland. But you'll also get the chance to be part of something new and exciting - something is happening in Poland, unlike dull stable Western European countries. Depends if you want to build something or simply to live in something that was built for you, really.

I'd say your real problem will be not understanding the Polish way of doing things. Foreign diplomas are good, but work experience is so, so, so important in Poland - and if you want to work in Poland as a Pole, they'll be expecting you to have similar experiences to the ones who never left.

But really, I'd say you'd have to be absolutely insane to choose a Polish degree over a Swedish one.

UK, Ireland / What use is an irish childs pps number in poland? [7]

My suspicion is perhaps that he's trying to claim benefits from Ireland (via the Polish system) and they've requested the PPS number as a result. It's about the only plausible explanation I can think of - they'll need the PPS number to deal with the Irish on the matter.

Certainly, if he's psychotic enough to be banned from contacting mother/child, then he should be told to take a hike.

Food / Typical lunch in Poland? [50]

I don't understand. Do you mean they cannot afford a hot lunch because they don't earn enough money?

Nah, just that there's a well established culture of working only 8 hours - where do they have time to get hot food if they're working for 8 hours?

Depends on the company though - but many Poles like a standard 7-3 or 8-4 working day and choose to just eat something cold at their desk.

News / Which modern developments harm Poland? [83]

but what in life actually makes you happy?

Can I answer?

What made me very happy today was going to have a discussion with a school director (wasn't an interview, just a chat) and ending up spending nearly 2 and a half hours talking to them about all sorts of interesting things, as well as getting my ridiculously high demands accepted on the spot.

It's a mystery to me, but a very pleasant one.

Yes. The vast majority aren't working long enough to eat a warm meal for lunch.

Nah, they're Polish. Deal with it.
