I am a Polish-American and I feel loyalty to my family and my friends. I am loyal to the idea of America as a republic with liberty and justice for all, but most of the policies, both foreign and domestic, that the government of America has had, since I've been aware of such things, do not merit my loyalty. As for Poland its history interests me greatly and I am loyal to the idea of Poland as an anarchistic place where people do as they please. I am loyal to the idea of the Liberum Veto. If Poland were to go to war and it asked for Polonia's help I would judge the merits of its request and act accordingly. Jews have always allowed for conversion too, and so what about the case of a Gentile that converts to Judaism and then later rejects its religious tenets, would that person still be a Jew? Is there a double standard that allows people born into Judaism to reject it as a religion and still remain Jews but not converts? Is say a Turk who converted to Judaism now a member of two nations, both Turkish and Jewish, or just one of the two, and if only one then which one?
