Travel / NOT COMING TO KRAKOW- KEEP IT! [30]

After you've been to Kraków once, the novelty wears off. I have no reason to go back. It was a disappointment and it's more for other people who are new to Poland.

Well said, Greg. Shame on you for mentioning this clown in the same breath as the great Ron Paul, antheads. How exactly would he change Poland, antheads? Please give me a laugh.

News / Do Poles take Kaczynski seriously!? [199]

Some do and some don't. His slogans are nonsense, though. You cannot accommodate all your peoples' interests but he tries that through his slogans. He is a desperate little toad that is the butt of many jokes here.

News / Poland's Kaczynski blames Russia for brother's death [30]

He is a little rodent. He thanked Russia openly on tv and then u-turned, not on merit but on political opportunism. His brother died for goodness sake. If that's how he handles death then I'd hate to see him in other areas. Sad little man!!

Um, I was joking ;) Polish politics are soooooooo boring so I like to spice it up with the comical midgets and stalwart bastions of Polish society, propping things up ;) ;)

Where are the mohair beret brigade now, btw? Did they give up after the cross was removed? Ran out of youth to bash? PiS haven't acknowledged their undying support in their election campaign ;) ;)

Life / Expats/Immigrants in Poland: Needy, Greedy or contributor. Which one are you? [118]

Charity means self help here, guys. Poland really lacks charity shops with second-hand books and clothes etc etc. Aberdeen, my home city, is full of them and you can pick up many goodies for dirt cheap. Poland is fooling itself with sky-high prices and paltry salaries. Time to wise up and smell the roses. Eyes must be opened. My wife loves them when we are in Aberdeen. She can't get enough of them.

LOL, another top post there, teflcat :) Smug, clean-shaven wan&ers are not my thing at all. Best left with a heavy lead weight attached to their foot and thrown into a river ;)

Gie mi some PiS. On second thoughts, don't. These faces on billboards are really beginning to irritate me. Get this circus over with as they are almost all tos*ers.

Really well done crispy bacon is lovely but also with some softer rashers too. Both are good!

No no no, Develey is not a good copy AT ALL. Want the best one? Hunt down Roleski English mustard. I 'think' they are under license from Colmans as the taste is very similar indeed. Trust me, I know what I'm talking about when it comes to mustard. I even picked up some Colmans last weekend in Kraków (Kuchnia Świata) as I love mustard so much. The texture and spiciness are the same and I'd love to take the Pepsi challenge but with mustards ;) It'd be interesting to see if I could differentiate the two. Personally, I'd be up against it. You can buy it in Kaufland.

Now, the bacon. Tarczyński are one of my favourite firms for meats here. Their 'katalońskie chorizo' sausage is AMAZING, as are their kabanosy. I'll have to try that bacon as I can only find Lurpak butter here, not their bacon.

Just out of interest, what English mustard do you use, hythorn?
