Law / Bank accounts taxed by up to 10%. Can it happen in Poland? [150]

There have been periods in history in which country's defaulted France for one, the revolution followed.

Even recently, Russia or Argentina... Greece should have been allowed to default years ago... there would have been no burden in debt costs, on the other hand no one would lend them money for many years, so problem solved, they would not be able to get in debt again.

Capitalism was going along just fine until the creation of Global Economics.

It would be still working. The reason behind the crisis is irresponsible behavior of the governments and large banks working closely with them, not much to do with capitalism really...

History / For what the Germans owe Poland one trillion U.S. dollars? [299]

For what the Germans owe us one trillion U.S. dollars????

Germans owe us nothing. You keep writing emotional stuff but emotions count for nothing in such cases. All the issues related to compensations/ownership could have been quite easily solved +20 years ago, it wasn't and now we have a big problem but it's only our fault, not yours or mine but the fault of our country caused by feckin idiots running it. If Poles keep voting for feckin idiots, this country will not exist in 20-30 years and it's not fault of Germans, Jews, Russians or anyone else except ourselves.

Love / ACCEPTABLE modest wear for Polish women? [49]

No, I'm a man. We don't wear hijab

So why do you keep your women in these things ? Would you like to see them in mini skirts ? I'm just curious.

Life / Polish pretense - what's the deal? [72]

Anyone?

Yes.

Is Cuckold/Hotwife the national kink in Poland?

No.

Why are people trying to be Western?

They don't.

Why are women so money-hungry?

Please do not generalize, your gf is not "women".

Life / Rising cost of food across the globe. How much is a weekly shop in Poland now in 2013. [53]

Explain why a Polish dude working at FIAT assembly line in Bielsko Biala makes 1/3 of what Italian dude makes working at the exactly same FIAT assembly line in Torino?

Because the company is Italian... Polish "elites" after 1989 sold us the way Negro chiefs used to sell their own people to slave traders. It's nonsense that "capital does not have nationality". If a nation do not have any serious corporations, its role is to provide cheap labour. That's it.

And salaries are low because Poland was always technologically lacking to the most advanced countries. (in some period of history less and in others more)

Sure. That's obvious. Some people just don't want to face reality for one reason or another... 40-60% cheaper, right... especially all those stuff imported from Holland, Spain etc. :)))

Law / Do I really need an accountant when I'm self-employed? [16]

Can anyone tell me if I need an accountant for this, or if I can do this myself?

You can do it yourself but accounting services are rather cheap in Poland, so most of small business owners just pay someone else to do it.

Life / The two sides of the Poles: friendly and honest / saying behind ones back [15]

I used to work in a reputable company where most of the guys were looking very gentlemen and professional but they were talking behind me all the time without getting tired, it was like if you suddenly start a life among tribes of Amazon jungle o.O

LOL ! I bet they are also squatting in circles !

Law / Krakow IT and Outsourcing [11]

then international companies got fed up paying Irish wages (and corporation tax) so jumped ship to cheaper countries. It'll happen to Poland too.

Unfortunately It won't happen here, at least not over the next 15 years, that's for sure. There's no way salaries will get even close to "western" level and If a company decided to choose Poland over India 5 years ago, they won't be moving to India now or in 5 years, salaries there are growing much more than here. When "international companies" start leaving, It's a great sign actually, It means people in that region are not cheap anymore.

History / Animated, moving map of Poland (past to present)? [6]

There's that famous "animted history of poland in 10 minutes" (or something along these lines) which you can easily find on YT, it was also posted here on PF... but it rather doesn't fit into your description, generally If the video you are talking about is popular, It should be somewhere on You Tube.

History / Aurochs, the primitive prehistoric cattle of Europe, had lived in Poland? [48]

Re the aurochs it would seem then that that they have been extinct throughout Europe,

In most of Europe they became extinct in 10th-14th century, the last ones lived in Poland, in Mazovia, since 15th century they were under protection of Mazovia's prince and later of Polish king, their last major habitat was even turned into a kind of national park, however the population was already very small, it was decimated by diseases transmitted by domestic cattle, the last one died in 1627.

Some kinds of domestic cattle are quite closely related to aurochs. Germans and Dutch have been trying to bring it back by breeding the ones that resamble aurochs the most, however it's not a real auroch.

Life / Men in Poland in the forest? Just men? [133]

so it must be something that they saw father and grandfather do and must therefore think that way is correct.

Sure, they pass it through generations, when a male kid living in Podkarpacie starts growing up, his grandpa takes him to the forest... here comes this very special moment... he squat down... tells the kid to do the same, then a proud kid knows that he's already a man, he may invite his friends to the forest or behind the store, they can gather there together and squat down in a circle, it's a cultural thing really, straight from central Asia really, because these people are really Mongols under cover, getting ready for the second coming of Genghis Khan. You English people are feckyn weird.

Life / Men in Poland in the forest? Just men? [133]

gatherings of men behind the local Straz and behind the local village shops???

Are you kidding us ? They most probably drink, complain on their wives and do other shyt and they hide, so their women can't find them and hit with some large kitchen item over their heads.

Edit: in your country men probably go to a pub to do that, here they have open air pub as it's cheaper and it sounds like you live in some backward town were half of the people are jobless.
