No need to introduce a convicted fraudster who uses a fake name to avoid people realising that he's most definitely not the working class hero he likes to pretend to be?

Do you have much more than an Ad hominem attack?

It takes a rogue to have the balls to do what he does. He has not been wrong on much if anything so far. Maybe take a trip to luton?

Love how the march triggers the leftists.

I went with my mother last year we thought it was amazing. Coming from Londinistan where white british are now a minority ( white working class have pretty much been cleansed completely ), where we are made to feel like second class citizens in our own land, where we will be fired/arrested for speaking what people dare not speak, where they did a pretty good job of turning our flag into something to be hated, where a very peaceful religion is given the highest of protections from criticism, where acid attacks are commonplace.

Anyway, we are going again this year but have pulled in a few more people who are waking up to the danger we are now in. At the march there is a diverse mix, old timers from ww2, kids, families, educated people, big scary blokes with masks ( so what? any red blooded male is going to be on ourside )

Leftists in poland, just leave enjoy the eu as its meant to be enjoyed, come to blackburn, luton, birmingham, rotherham, youll have a whale of a time

Real Estate / Home loan for foreigners (not from EU) in Poland? [10]

Its difficult to get a mortgage if you do not live in Poland. I looked into and spoke to a mortgage broker in Poland. Even being Polish and having a solid well paid job I could only use a couple of banks and they wanted 30% deposit. Best to save up and pay cash ( with maybe a couple of personal loans in your home country )

Real Estate / Warsaw buyer or sellers market? Houses around the Milanówek area [20]

Thought I would provide an update. Thanks for all your help it was really useful!

We finally got the house after much waiting. There were no real issues, everything went through quite smoothly. We will not be living there full time for at least 2 years but will be working to make improvements before we move in as it needs quite a bit of work. We met a few of the neighbours and they are all really nice. We intend to visit once a month and are lucky to have a local friend who is working on the house too.

The area we decided on is fantastic, very peaceful and relaxing in the forest but just a short journey on the WKD to Warszawa.

Life / What is the worst bank in Poland that I should avoid at all costs? [21]

Bank Pekao is fantastic, decent online application in english, lots of features and security. Excellent english speaking call center. Go for the gold option its only a few pln a month extra and you get a multi ccy debit card. I have put quite a few transactions through them without any issues.

And most importantly...from what I could make out, a very good credit rating and Polish owned

Real Estate / Warsaw buyer or sellers market? Houses around the Milanówek area [20]

So I paid the notary fees and sales tax in hard cash ( can be difficult to get more than 20.000pln out of the bank unless you call up the day before ).

We signed all the documents at the notary office with my lawyer present. I paid the money to the sellers account over the next 2 weeks which was agreed to in the contract. I collect the house in a month.

Question - which companies should I be using to insure the property ?

Life / Polish Militia - the growth of unofficial militia groups in Poland. [6]

Reuters refer to them as unofficial
"The Polish government has kept its distance from the unofficial civilian militias"

Anyway, this militia is from the Reuters report but a bit too far sjs-siedlce.pl

Also found this obronanarodowa.pl which I am busy translating
"The Mazowiecka Territorial Defense training project is an initiative aimed at integrating pro-defense communities from the Mazowsze area"

So in their speak, I am looking for a pro-defense community

Life / Polish Militia - the growth of unofficial militia groups in Poland. [6]

Hello, I have been reading about the growth of unofficial militia groups in Poland.

Would anyone know of any within a 25 min drive of Milanówek ?

I am only beginner level of Polish at the moment but I have some relevant experience that would definitely make up for that.

Thanks
Jozef

Real Estate / Warsaw buyer or sellers market? Houses around the Milanówek area [20]

Quick update on this, not gone through yet although its close. Got a 6% discount ( it had already come down in price before i came on the scene )

The agent was expecting me to turn up the next day and sign. I think they must be annoyed I got a Lawyer to check everything out and look for issues but I dont care, its my money at stake. Turns out part of the house is missing planning permission which apparently is common but the Lawyer got us some more discount and safeguards so it will not be too expensive to correct.

Question - ive been asked to pay the notary fee + sales tax to the notary in physical cash, is that normal? Also how is the money for the house transacted? Does it get sent to a third party or will i be sending straight to the seller ( risky? )

Law / How to verify a lawyer is qualified in Poland [8]

Ok thanks.

I want them to check all the stuff in this list
dom.trojmiasto.pl/Jakie-dokumenty-sprawdzic-przed-zakupem-mieszkania-uzywanego-n79542.html
and all the things people have suggested on this website.

I just dont like the idea of me ( cant speak Polish ) or my partner ( can speak Polish ) going out there running around checking stuff that we dont know about, it would cost more from time off work than having someone do it for us, although obviously I still dont want to get ripped off with crazy fees

Law / How to verify a lawyer is qualified in Poland [8]

Whats the difference between a "Kancelaria Adwokacka" and a "Radcy Prawnego" ?

From what I can tell the KA are not on this list rejestrradcow.pl/Home/Index but the RP are.

From looking at a lot of their websites offering services, the RP seem a level above the KA with expensive websites and expensive fees. I am wondering if I need a helper in Poland for basic real estate issues ( checking registers, sign documents, general hand holding ) then a KA will do ok

RP Example
kancelariadn.pl

KA Example
otwockadwokat.pl

Real Estate / Real Estate Lawyer costs in Poland [18]

Ok yeah, im not worried about about roof etc thats all fixable. Just worried about "oh it seems there is a problem which means you you dont own the property and all your money has vanished" kinda problems.

Sounds like first and foremost is a check against the register.

Real Estate / Real Estate Lawyer costs in Poland [18]

notariusze.waw.pl/kancelaria-notarialna/kancelaria,kancelaria-notarialna-tomasz-babka

Thanks, a useful website.

Buying from a private seller through an agent.

We are in London so not that easy to run around checking public registers etc, I would rather pay someone to do that.

The seller is currently living at the address which is a reasonable thing, surely she would show as registered to live there?

Would it not be the job of the Notary to confirm he has the real person in front of him?

restitution claims from pre war

Will try and get someone to check for restitution claims.

Re brexit - I am dual Polish/British - learning Polish.

Real Estate / Real Estate Lawyer costs in Poland [18]

Well the annoying thing is I found a 300 zloty guy who spoke English and was quite happy thinking that he might spend 10 hours on the case. His estimate for full cost meant that he thought he would need 63 hours on the case. I will be returning to that particular incident when I have some spare time ;)

re easements - thanks for the heads up, the house/land I want looks pretty simple.
