Life / A Pole returning to Poland harassed by MSW [25]

I wonder if anyone has himself, or had any of their friends harrassed by secret anticatholic agents of MSW in Poland.

Wanted for people to become aware of the expanding project for law abiding Polish catholics who are harrassed daily by secret masonic agents of MSW. Methods they use are extremely subtle and often involve coordinating,.or staging Police interventions, sounding syrens, plane and helicopter fly-bys ( yes MSW have these in large numbers, supposedly for fighting crime) even acustic signals of train locomotives to make them sync with the movements or actions of profile targeted victims. This technique is a well known page from a book of psycho-warfare.

Often those who are involved in public service, or drivers who are asked to sound the signals, do not know why they are asked to do such inocuous things and feel cool about. Not knowing why their MSW mentors are asking them to perfirm such tasks. The cellular network electromagnetic radaring of peoples homes helps coordinate the timing.Once the victim discovers he has been targeted, finds there is no escape and after repeatedly being provoked in this way my lose his temper. Then any sign of protest or anger at the police or civil servants involved is quickly turned into their own offence and serves as a pretext to incarcerate them or have them thrown into a psychiatric hospital.

A similar psycho induction is perpetrated when police are heard purposly sounding syrens during interviews where "politially incorrect" or "dangerous" views are expressed. I am also a target of such acustic schooling,.I have noticed for a very long time, whenever I stop to chat with anyone while in town shopping,.a police van,.ambulance or even fire brigade suddenly has a reason to appear nearby with syrens blaring. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Work / Theft and racism at a workplace in Poland [3]

3 years back in Poland, I sometimes hear of things being stolen, but had not experienced it personally in that time. Untill last week when my fairly expesive silk scarf went missing whilst at work. After a lot of thought I have narrowed it to one day when a reasonably pleasant, albeit slightly nervous young Ukrainian lady sat close by to where I keep my backpack. She seemed nice. Maybe a little flustered if a girl cant be creepy. Am I risking my life joining any dots?! Or get over it, buy a new one?! Thoughts?

Life / Why do Polish people love to say "No" to anything you ask? [12]

Among many cultural discoveries made over the years is that it is in Poland where I hear "No" most often in answer to my questions. Especially when looking for an item in shops or trying to get any kind of service. It seems that in peoples mind the authority is best expressed in forbidding and contradicting anything you want and say. It is such a painful contrast with USA. I only need to call at a local shop to be told. "Do not stand there"; "Don't put your bag here"; " We do not package fish the way you would like"; or "We have the fish you want but we only sell it whole, so you cant have a small cut"; " What you want we only sell on Thursdays" and so on, for ever. The government offices are no different. What is curious is Poles do not see it as anything wrong nor appologise for it. Flexibility I look for has no word in Polish dictionary. After a while one gets used to it, but I remember my first few months I felt so beaten down by this, and overwhelmed by constant proddings of "No's"and "Dont's.

Love / Polish girl after my husband [15]

what you are saying is, if your marriage looks weak on your man's side, you should jump ahead and bust it up for him. That's ok. assuming that you two had married with the idea that one day either side will do that.

Po polsku / POWRÓT do Polski - od czego zacząć? [22]

6 years? I came back after 30 and found my feet pretty easy. Saying that airoports would do well to carry brochures on how to ease your way back in. i.e. become comfortable with no public toilets, people not keeping their words, having to say "Dzien dobry" when you walk into stores. Women apparently enjoying sexist if not rude treatment from men, Public offices where you invariably have to explain your issues to a room full of people rather than one person, or getting blamed to your face for other people's ballsups, etc etc.

Love / Polish girl after my husband [15]

I think you should meet this woman face to face, and tell her that you find the way she carries on upsetting and tell your husband that he must come clean with his true intentions and warn him againt lying to you if your relationship is of any value to him. Then find yourself a mentor, a priest councelor or psychlogist,.or at least read up on how to deal with a flaky spouse.

History / Movie about Polish Fighter 303 Squadron in the making [37]

Merged:

Divizjon 303 movie

Looking foreward to seeing the movie, I have however watched the "Bloody Foreigners - documentary". It ends with a statement from a old Polish lady veteran of the Battle of Britain" recalling : " We felt betrayed at Yalta, and never felt genuinely welcome in Britain". Not genuinely welcome in Britain, right? Well, becasue to be welcome in Britain you need to be a trusted "anticatholic". That's right. A satanist, islamic, hindu, protestant, buddist,...anything is ok, except not Catholic. About time Polish people cottoned onto this rather sizable elephant in the room. Rather sad really. Would love to hear anyone convince me otherwise..?

Love / THE POLISH DISEASE, wanna marry a Polish girl ? read on... [197]

Another thing PL women are vociferously opposed to is any kind of charity work, or voluntary involvement in community. Dont believe it? Talk to anyone who ever tried to collect donations for a sponsored feat for charity among them. If you every try it yourself keep a cellphone handy to share their facial expressions.

Love / THE POLISH DISEASE, wanna marry a Polish girl ? read on... [197]

Much observation leads me to believe PL ladies do not get on with men who have sny kind of sense of humor. The more funny guy who likes to amuse himslef and others talking the more trouble ahead if you pair up with a PL lady. Oh, yeah they love to sit next you at a party, or maybe even date you. But marriage for them PL gals is a serious business of battling it out with their friend girls for position in the pecking order. So, your money high profile job social status matter, your conversation does not. Neither does your opinion or any kind of knowledge. Kindness, gentleness are kind of expendable too.

UK, Ireland / No Poles Allowed! - Latest Polonophobic Outrage Out of Britain [660]

Well i have been "dramatised" by a policeman. We had priests around my house nearly every day in the 60's cause our house had a phone and they (priests) kept calling their relatives from our home. Not one ever "dramatised "me. Instead, the best toys in toyshop I had at xmas were from them ( priests) cause they had more money than my parents. Anyway to the topic during my 1st UK interview for an engineering job 1985, chap asked me how I learned electronics so well since accordingto him "transistors were made from beetroot in Poland" . I laughed. Was his test if I had a sense of humour..

Travel / HW antics in Poland not for export - toll highways issue [3]

Beats me how, seeing the behaviour of drivers on hw here, no one seems to call out that there IS an issue. That on a tolled charge hw, pricey as they are, i should have to duck away from lane to lane, or even onto hardsholder, every few mile because of high testosterone PL driver, pettite or 18wheeler, has his grill inches from my trunk, lights flashing! Thank you for the luxury of using your 5 star hws.

Love / Polish Weddings the farce and how much money to give [22]

If you are indeed the kind, you may garnish your bounty basket with mini shampoo flasks and bog rolls nicked from hotels you stayed at along the way. This will save the happy couple guessing your nationality..

Love / Polish Weddings the farce and how much money to give [22]

Minus some exceptional character traits Would recommend sth practical and durable i.e. pizza baking stone plate. Cause
"something decorative or commemorative" you may get startled to find in a junk shop, a few years after the wedding.

Language / Polish words that sound funny? [224]

Most Brits find polish words for elephant or seal funny. Used to work north of Vauxhall, near Pimlico..Poles found the name hilarious cause pi mliko in polish is what an old granny would say to a child to finish his drink.

About the k...word, i disagree. Far from funny its a disgusting word, and only retards spice their talk with it. Unlike Brits Poles neither want or know how to swear in order to amuse anyone. Where in UK you would hear words like dick-head, pillock, nutcase, headcase, wollie, arsehole, and k's more, here its always the uninnovative k- this and k- that.

Life / My Last Link To Poland Died - Why Leaving Poland Was My Best Decision [249]

Poland is a nice country, warts and all. Its in the 'feel' of it. I look around and say 'this place is good to call home". I say this after living 23 years in UK home counties, 7 years in Canada in 4 provinces, and 5 years in US i IL, CA, and TX. Today, all these places to me feel at best like luxury refugee camps.

USA, Canada / Would you live in California, USA? [240]

Actually you could have a point. Seeing how my water boiled in a saucepan in my time in Dallas TX, (didnt own a kettle ;) I often wondered how the steam srangly 'weaved its way' hrough the air,..smoke-like, so differently to how I remembered it doing it in back in Europe. Goodness knows wha the reason could be. Tasted ok though.. :)

USA, Canada / Would you live in California, USA? [240]

Been there done it. All California water is treated with bromide which no matter what you, with time gives everyone a big lardy bottom.
