Life / Is multi-culti in Poland bankrupt? [73]

Why is it acceptable for you to move to many different countries (as per your claim elsewhere), but not acceptable for anyone else?

News / Krystyna Pawłowicz and the 'marsz szmata' (slut walk) [52]

ex-SB Grodzkie

Proof?

is gotta be the ugliest ...(what do I put here, dang, the political corectness)? in the world

Nice to see that you consider a woman's looks to be relevant for doing a job.

I found a wonderful quote by Pawłowicz -

When she died a year ago, on February 1, 2012, the nationalist MP and Law Professor Krystyna Pawlowicz said on Polish Radio: "I don't associate Szymborska with Poland."

deliberatelyconsidered.com/2013/02/michnik-a ttacked-the-polish-culture-war-escalates/

What a disgrace Pawłowicz is.

Incidentally, Chechens haven't done this in Poland

They haven't done it because most of them claimed aslyum in Poland and then buggered off to Germany.

I think that the only thing more amusing than watching a immigrant whining about other immigrants in when the person doing the whining is not only an immigrant but an immigrant who makes his living selling tall tales to other immigrants who live in another country.

Very tall tales indeed. I wonder if the purchases of such tales would be happy to discover about their writer's racism.

Real Estate / Poland's apartment prices continue to fall [1844]

How dos this affect your decissionmaking in the short run?

It allows me to make even more overpayments - as my minimum overpayment is 2x minimum. If interest rates get cut by another 1 point, then I'd expect to be overpaying the mortgage monthly.

How will this affect the developer and the amount of new projects?

I don't think it'll change anything - the developer will be lending from the banks, who will still have to pay a significant premium (compared to the Czech Republic) to loan money.

Input, anyone?

Perhaps the more interesting question is - will Polish sellers on the secondary market start reducing their prices?

Language / what means 'studia podyplomowe' ? [8]

and post-graduate is doing another MA (or BA) - not necessarily going up the ladder for PhD. It means doing another licencjat or magister title, in other field.

(respectfully :p)

Doesn't it mean specifically studying one of those post-diploma courses that exist? For instance - pulling a random link from google - kde.edu.pl/page.php/1/0/show/1624 - it isn't a BA/MA, it's rather just something that gets you qualified in Poland to do something. For instance - where I work - there's someone with a history degree that studied elementary education as a postdiploma subject. It didn't give her another BA/MA, but it gave her the 'rights' to teach.

Maybe there's another meaning of the word, but this is how I understand it?

I wasn't referring to you as such, more just making a point.

It means nothing in the way that it has been adopted as a generic insulting term by people with their own agenda.

I think we all know what Polonius' agenda is, and I think we all know how he changed his colours.

Fortunately, his agenda is one that is supported by a minority of Polish people.

Work / Environment Science student - how good is my chances of finding job in Poland? [4]

PhD studies normally take 3 years, not 7.

Is there something you're not telling us? It does seem rather strange that you are coming to Poland to be with a girl that you haven't seen in years, without employment and who appears to be still in school.

Have you considered that it will be difficult for you to even legalise your stay in Poland? Poland doesn't have such a thing as a "fiancee visa".

Work / Environment Science student - how good is my chances of finding job in Poland? [4]

I have to move to Poland for at least 7 years for my fiance to achieve her academic goals.

Is she still in high school?

What are my chances of getting a good paying job there?

Not high. You might get a job, but it's unlikely to be well paying.

I want to support her but I worry I am ending up to be a hindrance instead of support.

You certainly will be a hinderance if you're much older than her and hanging around her the whole time.

Given your previous threads (particularly the fact that haven't actually met this 'fiancee' of yours in years) - I suggest you should take things one step at a time.

Again I'd wager that aggregate happiness directly resulting from established multi-culti has been lowered for those receiving immigrants.

Bear in mind that for example - the German economic boom was fuelled with immigrant labour, especially Yugoslavian.

Polonius, a surprising error from you. These are not doctoral studies, nor do they aspire to be.

Language / what means 'studia podyplomowe' ? [8]

I can't understand what exactly means. It's like master degree or bachelor degree?

It's sort of postgraduate studies, but it isn't worth anything outside of Poland. It's mainly used by Poles to gain 'rights' to do things, such as teaching.

Life / Is multi-culti in Poland bankrupt? [73]

Prof. Mieczysław Ryba writes about the 'Bankruptcy of multi-culti' in 'Nasz Dziennik'.

Yawn. Nasz Dziennik is run by Rydzyk. No-one takes it seriously.

Should Poland open its floodgates to every Third World asylum seeker and his wife?

Those gates are already open, as witnessed by the amount of Chechen refugees in recent times.

Why didn't the PiS government close the door?

News / Poland marching for life and family [132]

Yes i know that a regime is. Do you?

So could you explain why the current government is a regime? Bear in mind that just because the opposition lost doesn't make it a regime.

U cant ready about it on fronda, niezależna itd itp...

You can, but it's all pro-Opposition nonsense designed to mislead and fool people.

Niezalezna is anything but.

Travel / My trip to Zagan and other places in Poland [5]

Harry's probably the man for information, but like I told you by PM, it's apparently a bastard of a place to access without a car. I've got some information somewhere about how to get there and about, but I'm not sure where :(

Good parenting means not wasting valuable time marching because you want some extra cash from the State.

Incidentally, marching for money teaches children - what - exactly?

News / Potheads detained in Warsaw [8]

Personal freedom, including a lack of state interference in whatever plant (whether tobacco or something more enjoyable( one smokes is something to cherish.

I couldn't care less about what people do behind closed doors.

Go after the dealers, but really, what's the point in prosecuting people over small bits of weed or otherwise?

News / Poland marching for life and family [132]

Most of what you say comes right out of the mouth of your great leader, the chief of GW :).

You know better than me, I don't particularly like Gazeta Wyborcza.

You seem to oppose the children being ideologised by their parents... okay, then you probably also oppose homos adopting children then...

Tell me, do you think it's better for children to rot in horrible orphanages, or for them to be brought up by people who will look after them properly?

Those marches always leave you with the feeling that half the participants are embarrassed to be there and the other half are swivel-eyed loonies.

It does change things when you realise that most of them in Warsaw were there to try and get more money from the State than for any other reason.

In your views, although they dont really interest me at all, who do you think should raise our children? I gather that Catholics do not go into view ? :)

Who? I think that parents have an obligation to provide their children with all the information they need and to let them make their own choices.

Don't worry - we're used to your mistakes. When you're a grown-up, you'll hopefully have grown out of them.

Of course he will, he'll probably be embarrassed of the stuff he's posting here now.

News / Poland marching for life and family [132]

15,000 married couples with their children marched across the capital in support of traditonal, non-dysfucntioonal families.

Shouldn't they do something more productive with their children than thrusting their beliefs on them?

It was refreshing to see smiling, wholesome-looking people of all ages, no tatoo thugs, piercing tarts, punks

How do you know this, Polonius? You seem to be far more informed about these gatherings than most of us. Anyway, tattooed thugs are a feature of nationalist marches.

As for smiling, wholesome-looking people - how does that compare to your posts on PolishForums that are full of hatred towards anyone that you don't approve of? In particular, how do you think these families would feel about your statement that their daughters deserve to be raped if they dress in a certain way?

In 2011 such pro-family marches were held in only half a dozen Polish cities, last year their number had risen to 50 and this year it's double that.

See, Polonius, it's an admirable attempt, but you've completely distorted the truth.

A loose translation

Several thousand people took part in the parade in Warsaw. It is to support those who decide to have children, and during the march signatures were collected for a draft law on social and educational vouchers. Jacek Sapa of the Advocacy Centre for Life and Family says it is only the first of such proposals, which are intended to benefit the family environment. One such proposal is to provide a benefit for each family in the amount of 1,600 zloty for the first two years of raising a child.

Of course Polonius, you would never dream of confusing the two issues, would you?

As for the part of these marches that were against abortion, it's nothing new. The opposition has realised that the Smolensk marches are now dwindling to nothing - the last one in Poznan had really barely anyone there, and it's obvious that the whole Smolensk campaign is dying. So - what else than to dig up the boring old argument about abortion yet again.

Anyway Polonius, no matter how hard you try, the fact remains that Polish society is not made up of closed minded weirdos who write rubbish for Polonia newspapers. Polish society is incredibly diverse, with a wide range of opinions. Sadly, it also includes those that feel that women deserve to be raped for their choice in clothing.

Study / Poligloci Language School...Anybody Heard Of Them...? [8]

Couple of years back, so quite recently. I don't think he has changed one bit - in my experience with school directors, they don't change.

I wouldn't waste your time to be honest - but if you do, make it clear to him that you want a contract for a set amount of time with a set amount of hours. If he doesn't agree, you've lost nothing. It's worth pointing out that my "interview" with him was on the basis of a 10 minute phone call!

News / Potheads detained in Warsaw [8]

delphi always makes me laugh hihihi, for uneducated, or raised as a child of platoon children like yourself, let me explain that the Police force has different sections of it working on different levels, you are talking about Drogowka, and they are constantly monitoring the streets for any speeding, Poland has roughly 500 speed camerac all around the country, one of the biggest numbers of cameras in the EU... to help block the budget hole.

Oh dear. Goofy, you don't have a driving licence, you don't live in Poland - if you did, you'd know that the level of enforcement in Poland is pathetically low. Those of us that drive in Poland see endless stupidity almost every day - aggressive driving, speeding, tailgating, the list is endless. There are many roads where limits are completely ignored, where people doing 100km/h+ in 70km/h limits is normal. The speed cameras are meaningless, their locations are signed and they do nothing to prevent bad driving.

Trying to say that the police is divided into different units is nothing new - but if the police have the resources to bust a few kids for a few grams of weed, then those resources can be redeployed. Poland isn't the UK goofy, people don't respect driving laws here.

Stoping drugs going to kids is one of the more important issues in the country, and should be treated as such... you are either an RP moron, or just a moron, you want drugs on the streets?

Stopping kids getting the drugs is one thing, but busting kids for possession of small amounts of weed? Really? Let's be honest, such policing does nothing to help matters - especially as these will clog up the legal system even more.

Go to Amsterdam and see what kind of people are going there, I was there in a schoold trip couple of years ago, and to see all those chavs either on high or just drunk with prostitutes, since they are also allowed there, it reminded me of Sodoma and Gomora, no thank you I don't want this kind of view either in Warsaw, or Krakow.

What does decriminalising the possession of small amounts of weed have to do with Amsterdam?

Cheers to the right wing thinkers!

Sadly for you, Korwin-Mikke (a genuine right winger if there ever was one) turned up too.

Right wing stands for freedom, in case you didn't know. Your PiS variety stands for oppression.

News / Potheads detained in Warsaw [8]

Police in Warsaw have detained dozen of pro-pot marchers for possession of illegal drugs, Gazeta Wyborcza reports. In any civilised country police should have been passing out reefers to mums and their kids on Mothers' Day, innit?!

And meanwhile, how much time has been wasted on these kids when the roads are full of dangerous morons driving 2 tonnes of steel in a dangerous, wreckless manner?

Priorities, priorities, priorities.
