In Poland it's against the law to dismantle white goods ;)

Just leave it near bins. Aluminium is highly prized among złomiarze. They will take it on its last journey to scrap yard.

As I remember (from ancient times) our timetables the first column is hour and on the right side we got minutes

No. We can behave wise or stupid (zachować się mądrze lub głupio) We can make a wise or stupid decision (podjąć mądrą lub głupią decyzję)

So, if the Polish people do think so badly of America, and it's people, why compain about needing a visa?

I don't know why they compain. Maybe they want to join or visit they relatives in USA? Maybe they want feel equality of opportunity among other European citizens but really they not going visit USA?

Yes, we insure car not the driver but an owner must have address in Poland.

Someone told me it was only a 50 PLN fine.

Not at all. The worst scenario is when you are the guilty party of an accident.
Then insurance company can refuse to pay the compensation and you are boiled.

What kind of inspection is it? Is it mainly for safety? Or for pollution?

suspension, shocks, arm bushes, brakes, lights, windscreen cracks, oil leaks and emission

I consider myself an educated person but still I consistently make one grammatical mistake when speaking - I always say 'poszłem' ( I went) instead of 'poszedłem'

I'm sure you know a new, improved versions poszłedłem and wyszłedłem ;)

If native Pole hears a converstion littered with ending errors, does it sound strange/funny/uneducated? I just wondered. I used to say 'Jestem Angielski' :-(

It sounds funny a bit but we know in the twinkling of an eye that you are striving to learn Polish and we try to understand as much as possible ;)

Of course they know it but mums want to see baby all the time. Some people turn off passenger airbag.
Some cars don't have airbag at all because of earlier crash ;)

tak always should be first tak, wiem

For 'Znać' when can I use it?

We use znać mainly when talking about people Do you know him/her? not languages.
Average Pole would say Mówisz po angielsku? Tak, trochę.
