That's a good point too. I seem to recall some minor outcry from the US China population denouncing the decision to honor Mao.

I'm just saying, the number of Chinese in NYC doesn't justify celebrating a murderous Commie China leader anymore than the number of Germans there justifies celebrating a murderous Nazi German leader.

Well, I tell you how I feel about it. We are all Americans here, no matter where your ancestors came from and if any colors should be shown on empire state building, it should be ours. People made their choices when they arrived here to live here as Americans.

We have that kind. I tried to kill one out in the yard today but the creepy little bastard got away.

We call these Daddy Longlegs. They don't make a web. They don't bother people but I've heard that they are one of the most poisonous spiders, just their little tiny teeth can't penetrate our skin. Good.

Silverfish don't need a food source; they can survive just fine in your attic and walls just by eating the paper backing of the insulation.

They sell silverfish traps. And most bugs don't like mothballs so one call put some of them in the back of closets and drawers and in the attic and under the house.

Simply moving away to a new apartment won't solve the problem as the bugs will move with you; they're in all your stuff by now.

It is not what a man buys me; it is the gesture. I don't care if a man takes me out on a fancy date or buys me something expensive, the sincerity of the gesture is what attracts me. If a poor guy goes out of his way to take me on a cheap date and treats me with respect then that is far better than a man who spends a large amount of money

Most here have concluded that the boy's problem with this girl is not cultural but rather that she simply doesn't like him romantically.

That's how ever single one of our freedom-restricting laws came about. Some jerks couldn't get along properly in society so we have to limit everyone's freedoms because of them. No, seriously, people keep saying about their rights and freedoms, but what if that freedom is getting them into a trouble? Why we, as a society, are expected to pay for their bad choices and pay, for example, for fighting their gambling addiction?

I'm with ya, babe! One's freedom ends where it starts to cost others. Or it should.

It's easy, leave people to their own devices. We should reintroduce personal responsibility and consequences for an individuals actions. No need for government coddling or moralizing. Once that person violates ones rights, whether property of personal, at that point governments need to step in.
