beacause the laws of the II republic of Poland dictate that I cant walk in Public places naked.

of course you can! :)
beside, do you know any country with no dress code anywhere?

I spent this long weekend on the beach in Rowy with my wife and kids and we did not wear a stitch the whole time, because we were given a choice.

would you judge somebody who's wearing a sweather on a beach? what would you think?

it should be valid for both, men and women.

it is... they get cold looks too... and then whine on some forums... :)

it's called a dress code... and it's used everywhere...
i'm surprised that many people would wear everywhere just about anything... or nothing maybe...

She then revised that to 6 weeks when my daughter (who works full time) showed her unhappiness with the situation.

see, nannies have their lives too... maybe it was the only way to do so...
if you are frustrated with her, let her go and find another nanny, you've got plenty of time to do that... don't leave a bad after-taste from this relationship...

Exactly what are the rules as to how often she must go back to Poland, for how long, etc?

American immigration laws are complicated and varies depending on person's situation... she might had to do that...

PS - next time, i suggest, get more interested in your nanny's situation (and i don't mean-noisy), so nothing will surprise you like the situation you're (your daughter) in right now...
