What's so special about atheists? What makes them better than Catholics? I'm a baptist myself but I'd love to cuss the hell out of you for making dumb comments but I won't do it because I don't want to stir up another war on PF. well, I don't think they're in control but it certainly looks like they're doing financially really good in nowadays Poland. When I was in Mikolajki, I was told that the best looking houses in that area are own by the ex commies. Of course, I can't provide any proof for any of it but whoever I've met there, was telling me the same story so I assume, at least some of it is true.

I'm not sure if it's really smart of you guys to keep splitting Polonia in two or more different camps while you're battling all Polonia opposition on PF because I don't think that you're being kept out of their criticism being Can-Poles but if that makes you feel better, I guess it's the way to go then, right? ;-)

I hope, we all agree that to condemn an entire nation or ethnicity is wrong. It sucks really bad when one hates the Jews just as much as it sucks when one hates the Pol-Ams. It's hard to understand how the same people who show so much understanding for human rights, can hate the Jews or the Pol-Ams at the same time. So if you guys are really as smart as I want to believe you are, at least try to co-exist if nothing else is possible.

You're right, I've never even heard people talking about them. Maybe the fact that people here don't talk about them, makes them believe that we hate them. As you say, you'll always find some moron who hates Poles but the same moron, most likely hates anyone who doesn't live in his direct neighborhood (actually, he might even hate his neighbors too) so I wouldn't pay attention to it at all.

true, however in general, some people are learning languages quicker than others. Then again, the same people might be pretty slow in math, you know how it is.
