Work / What am I allowed to say about a company on the Internet without getting sued [12]

I'm allowed to say on the internet without getting sued.

Your story seems unlikely.
If you cause a business some kind of damage, cost them money or break an agreement you may get sued. Without knowing the specifics it’s hard to say what you're talking about.

As a side note: get comprehensive general liability insurance. It won’t prevent you from being sued but it will help you to pay for the cost of a lawyer if you do get sued. Of course if you're getting sued now it's too late. What did you do wrong? You're anonymous here, lay it out.

Life / Why are Poles in other countries called "Plastic Poles"? [168]

Why do I think that calling someone Plastic Polack could be a sign of plain and simple immaturity?

In the old days, a nationality could give a person some entitlement to their nation's goods and services.

The original concept is still well understood although it may not be applicable in all cases nowadays.
Over the years, this notion was expanded upon and people kept modifying it to fit their needs.

Feel free to observe any 3 immature people arguing. 8 out of 10 it's about some form of entitlement... If it's not in the beginning, at some point, it's going to be later.

So what does this have to do with PF and how is this related to Plastic Polack name-calling?

Plastic Polacks are NOT entitled to have an opinion about Poland because this type of entitlement is reserved for Polish who currently live there.

I believe the above statement is very immature and I won't stand for it!

and I'm a type of a person who is not afraid to play "dirty". Yes I'm immature as well... I'm on PF arguing with you, right? So you better fucken watch it.

Edit:

Signed
Plastic Polack.

Life / Are there aliens already in Poland? What do Polish people think about extraterrestrials? [34]

Can anything more than our own existence be absolutely proven, is there anything else out there? Yes, I hope we can and i konow there is.

Daily chores, life goals, kids, work… What's the purpose of all of this? We copulate, buy more stuff, argue about politics, watch some TV, we try impressing others like us and rub it in… Really, that’s all we've got?

We're tiny bacteria killing each other over a piece of nutrient.

This is why I believe creative people are the biggest treasure that we really have. Go creativity and creative people. You save us from being ordinary douchebags.

Life / Are there aliens already in Poland? What do Polish people think about extraterrestrials? [34]

The history channel is saturated with UFO, USO, Area 55 stories, (and ghost stories) for some reason. I've met a very cute girl who had me almost convinced that aliens are responsible for recent advances in technology.

What happened in Jelenia Gora?

understand where we are in relation to the rest of the visible universe

Yeah, it's very probable that there are other intelligent life forms out there but if they decided to come down to earth it would be most likely an invasion imo

Life / Are there aliens already in Poland? What do Polish people think about extraterrestrials? [34]

Growing up in Poland a thought of aliens seemed very unrealistic. I would be more likely to believe in Madonna’s painting crying blood than in extraterrestrials. But why?

After I got abducted the story has changed … Just kidding… ha ha…

How come Polish are not into Aliens? Everyone else seems to be.

Personally the whole concept of a technologically advanced race of extraterrestrial beings coming down to earth just to shove a probe up bubba’s butt seems stupid... So are bleeding pictures of saints, but I could be wrong. Who does really know?…

What you all think? Please discuss. I'm really interested to hear from you because i think you're far more intelligent than most Americans.

Life / Polish mentality-three fishermen [7]

I like the dumb Polack jokes, like the one about Polish screen door submarine.

"Hyman G Rickover was born in Poland, he possessed the IQ of a genius and would later immigrate to the U.S. where he would become the "Father of the Nuclear Navy". Had he stayed in Poland this chapter wouldn't have been necessary. Thankfully he left.

Polish expertise in metallurgy led to numerous advancements in hull design and manufacturing techniques. Most significant of these are the development and application of Screen Door (SD™) technology, used by both Polish and Iranian navies."

Life / Polish mentality-three fishermen [7]

Three fishermen caught a gold fish that granted wishes

First fisherman: Gold fish i wish i had a farm with 20 chickens, I've been fishing for so many years and my old bones are too tired to continue. I can spend more time in my village with my family. Poof, the wish has been granted.

Second fisherman: Wow, that's a good idea. Gold fish! I wish i had a farm with 50 rabbits. I'm tired of fishing too. I would trade my rabbit meat for chicken eggs we both could be rich in no time. Gold fish has granted the wish. poof.

Third fisherman: Humm, I don't know.... Golden fishy... hummm. Kill all the rabbits and chickens because they're going sh!t too much.

The blue men group is in Houston, anyone else is going to see the show?

History / The Way Back ( Długi Marsz movie) Colin Farrell, Ed Harris [27]

For those who didn't watch it yet, enjoy

My family lived in Silesia for generations. We're Polish/Germans or Hanysy or whatever you want to call us.

My grandpa was recruited by Wehrmacht during WWII as scout-sniper and he was set to eastern front. The German army was decimated under Stalingrad as you all know.

... He spent 10 yeas in Siberia camp as a Polish - Russian - German translator and that's why Russians let him stay alive for so long. To translate...

The first winter my grandpa's camp was situated on a potato field. He and his buddies ripped the floor out than carved out the potatoes from the frozen ground and slept with them overnight so they could try to eat it in morning.

He was shot in both knees and stabbed in the chest with a bayonet. That's what he told me...

eventuality he was able to escape in mid 50's and returned to Silesia to his family.

he survived and therefore I'm here.

I got a new comeback for dope. Dope, Pierdolisz jak Radziecki saper...

The commentator in that movie kept saying Pa>L<ac, do you think he was he Lithuanian? Most of my Polish family pronounces very distinct "£" in that word. I thought it was strange.

I got accent in my Polish so I'm all effed up now.

Silesian you may know well but you do not know about the world around you. Learn, read and get yourself educated.

Well go ahead, this is your chance to educate this dumb Silesian about his and his extended family history and about people who spent generations working in coalmines and steel plants.

I'm sure you're one of those people who would teach native Americans about their heritage too. Dude, please stop it. you're killing me.

Law / Is it illegal to burn the bible or any religious symbols in Poland? [30]

I'll save you the effort. It's apparently illegal to insult people's religious beliefs

Yes, i agree what that.

Would burning the bible in order to provide necessary heat in a winter time be considered an offense as well? Because the moment i burn it, I'm just telling everyone that i was in hypothermia and i had to do it in order to survive. Case closed.

There was no business justification to build NH in/near Kraków.

I think they build it there because Krakow had the workforce and engineers needed to pull it off. Usually the simplest explanations are the correct ones.

You're making a conspiracy out of it.
