quote=opts, Post #49 ]You selected a wrong forum in your search for "skilled building workers".
I do not think that Polish skilled building workers sit by their computers and participate in this forum. [/quote]

Exactly. They probably do my work. (Please, understand that I do not blame them for wanting to work, but the people who contract them before they even tried to contract atleast one of their ''own'' people.)
My two cents.

Arien,

Skilled building workers are working, and they do not use this forum to find jobs.

Did you sleep, while class was in session?

I am a skilled building worker. And I am most definitely NOT working because of the reason mentioned before.

Besides that, most people DO NOT work on SATURDAY???

People don't? Oh? Well excuse me, but like you, I've read this and I am willing to take any serious job offers, regardless on which forum they are posted.

And to your question: No, I didn't pay any attention to any class in session, I had to work and pay for everything because my adoption family kicked me out.

But you're so smart. :)

Tried to get English workers and had some but but after having to get rid of five of them as they were late, lazy and embarrissingly stupid had to go the European route. Now thankfully I have some Bulgarian guys who are first rate. Freddy I'm not a traitor just a business man with a business to run and looking for good and skilled tradesmen, maybe if your so good I may employ you but what are your skills????

Hello, i have a friend who is coming to the country he wants to save some money for his studies, he will be in london from November, his english is minimal, but he is a hard worker. Before when he was here he found it tricky to get work, i was so sad i could not help him when he was last down.

I also know someone who did a political degree in poland and is now doing a financial law degree here in london, yet with all this education and being here for 6 years, he only works in a bar in an italian resteraunt. This is so unfair!

Having said all this i hate to admit that after 6 years of working my butt off , i worked my way up to asssistant manager in retail. Then i changed for an office job, then this year, i got forced to hand in my notice after being there for a year.

I am english was born here and now have been without work for 3 months even though i did a course and passed exams and have been temping ever since, still i am finding it difficult to get another perm full time job, and at 23 i feel this is unjust!!

Life can be difficult for anyone anywhere. Everyone deserves a job and my heart goes out to all who are unemployed and are desperately trying to get work its not funny not knowing how you are going to pay your rent and buy food!!

I believe we all deserve a better quality of life and why be so judgemental, do we really know what we are saying? Are we really right? Do we know the lives of others? Everyone deserves a chance.
