Hi all!!

Im just curious how hard it is to become a stockbroker in Poland...without any polish language- preferably english as thats all i can speak!!! DO they take in graduates....and what qualifications do they require??

Also does anyone know any stockbrokers in poland and in what cities are they situated??

One more thing, i promise!!! how is the recession hitting Poland....are jobs harder to find now?? what are the prospects for graduates now?

the news reports that unemployment will hit 14%

Now is not a good time for those with a less than perfect CV.

Warsaw seems to be pretty much it - the Exchange is quite small ( 366 companies ).

Have you thought about working in the banks, retail investments?
Knowlege of the language is essential.

Hmmmm....not the best time to be looking for a job in the finance sector :-(

Might be the right time for a career change.

and even if i started learning

If your partner speaks Polish and you are immersed in the language it shouldn't take too long to lea............I see what you mean - its not the easiest !!!!!
