My boyfriend and I were looking into moving to Poland. My boyfriend on the other hand wants to open up his own auto shop... would this pay in Poland?

Thanks!

just aquick one.

Tuning/Modding here in poland is getting really big, so in a specialist sort of way,and dealing with certain cars , I think you could make a decent living here

Polacks dont do hot rods, they do they import rice burner bull$hit, civics, mitzus etc. Only the polish Amerikans work on real cars like Chevrolet Chevelle, Ford Torino, Dodge Chrager. Perfect ex. is krakow saying the words "tuning/modding", which are 2 things you dont do to classic amerikan Iron ;)

All else aside, if the economy is good, anything is possible, and that goes for anywhere...

*spits coffee all over laptop.

Real cars? Thats a new one on me,
Are you sure you don't mean large engined, inefficient, dynamically inferior, mass produced American shite?

The reason American cars havent taken off in Europe is because we have these things called corners which require the car to change direction in a fluid and stable fashion. We also wouldn't want to run a 5.0 v8 when we can have better fuel efficiency and more power from a Japanese or German car with the added benefits of actually being able to go round corners.

You must be one of those computor car guys. Who said anything about 5.0's? Thats weak, I mean 7.4's and up and were talking real power. A completly stock 1970 SS Chevelle with a 454 runs flat 13 seconds with bias ply tires, meaning the tires are slippery and there smoked all the way to the finish line, no imported car could do that then, very few can do it now, and if you want to talk about modern day, then we still got everyone beat, brand new ZO6 Corvette, will run 10 seconds and still get 22 MPH, cant beat that, I know you cant beat that. Back to old school, fastest cars to ever leave the production lines in Detroit MI-USA were the 1967-1969 Yenko big block 427 c.i. Camaros, cappable of 10 seconds on the track with drag slick tires, no stock imports can do that now, let alone 40 years ago. And the main reason why old iron amerikan cars are not big over there is because they cost so much, they have to be bought and shipped from the u.s. Its cheaper to buy a brand new BMW M1 over there then it is to buy a base model corvette. Good luck with the cereal box cars...

You want cornering, weve had it for 40 years. Depends on the car.

Sometimes I'm amazed by how much of an idiot you are.

Please explain where somebody can buy a brand new BMW M1 from. Seeing as production of the M1 ceased 27 years ago and fewer than 500 were ever made, I'd say the chance of finding a new one are fairly slim.
