Hi All,

Just wondering if you have a Canadian Drivers License and are a Polish citizen, can you get a Polish drivers License or do you have to take the road test meaning your Canadian Drivers License doesn't mean a thing...

No you cannot exchange it. If you want a Polish license you have to take the classes and the tests.

You can drive temporarily in PL on it however...I think 3 months by the law but not 100% sure. I have heard mixed answers as to if you need the International Driver's p Permit along with it (not a license but a paid translation of your home license and ai money making scam really)

The best person to speak to about this is nauczyciel as he is a Canadian living in Poland

Yes, there is an exchange. I know people who have done it from USA and Canada.
You don't need to take any tests.
I've also heard people from Poland going to Ukraine to get their license there b/c it's cheaper and exchange it for a Polish one.

Derek i found something meybe it will help

"A foreigner must live in Poland for at least 185 days in order to be eligible to apply for a Polish driver's license. They should prove they have professional or family ties with Poland in the application for the document. Some manage to bypass the regulations, however."
